Mr Blobby
Hopefully we can actually get a home meeting in this week as we welcome Scunthorpe this week to the Dale.R/R for Kerr, everyone can take a ride apart from Douglas. Wethers in as a replacement for Davis strengthens them at the number 2 position and with MPT at reserve who can be pretty handy round Armadale could cause a problem for us. Even then I still think we'll have enough in the tank to get the job done. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh 1. Sam Masters 2. Mark Riss 3. Erik Riss 4. Ryan Fisher 5. Kevin Wolbert 6. Max Clegg 7. Dan Bewley Scunthorpe 1. Ryan Douglas. 2. Matthew wethers 3. Lewis Kerr R/R 4. Carl Wilkinson 5. Josh Auty 6. Michael Palm Toft 7. Josh Bailey
Fromafar
Slightly dodgy weather forecast, early days though might chance.
JanAndersen
Rumour is that Bewley is unavailable again and Edinburgh are using Peter Carr at no.7.

Is that a slightly dodgy substitute forecast? Weather's looking fine. Bring it on.

TheScotsman
Another 0-5! Unreal Twice in a row - heat 15 then heat 1!
lucifer sam
Scorpions led 27-20 at one point, and still led with three heats to go, but final score was 49-40 to Monarchs. All the best Rob
TheScotsman
Good effort from Scunny. Took 3 Xx 5-1s in last 3 heats.
IronScorpion
Another hard ride by Masters, according to chatzone, taking Wethers wide & down. "Surprisingly Wethers excluded" All from non-biased chatzone!!!

damosuzuki
A deeply disturbing result for speedway in the UK.
TheScotsman
A deeply disturbing result for speedway in the UK. Yep - be afraid. Be very afraid. And Somerzet have caught you up too.
damosuzuki
NO FEAR.... However, Somerset are a shoe in to top the league on points and I also still would be surprised if Newcastle don't finish up in the top 3. As I am magnanimous, I will say Edinburgh are a changed side since they swapped Etheridge for Riss and Bewley started scoring. Your lot still are not on my list of worries, though. Mr Blobby
Well we certainly made hard work of that one. The track was pretty heavy and grippy that suited the scunny boys a bit more than us even though both sides were struggling at times. Once the track settled down a bit we got going and done the job that was required.
stewmac
How to victory from the jaws of defeat! Two observations from the meeting. Firstly, I was very disappointed that Mark Riss was replaced by Clegg in heat 10, as that was totally unmerited. Riss had been slow from the starts but had looked very fast when making up ground in his previous heat. Clegg meanwhile had done absolutely nothing to suggest at that stage he'd get a point, which in fact he didn't. Secondly, heat 14, and Clegg suddenly came to life, firstly outgating Palm Toft and Wilkinson, then in the rerun harrying and finally passing Palm Toft! Where on earth has that form been all season Max? So frustrating to see you can do it after all.... Can we please see that a bit more often?? Anyways, Scunthorpe must be sick. Twice they have thrown away victories against us in 5 days now! Edited July 22, 2016 by stewmac
allthegearbutnaeidea
What happened with Masters and Wethers in Heat 15 then
thebaron
Sounds like we should have won this ! There was I thinking 40-49 was a decent result at Barmadale ! Is there anything we could lodge protest about ?
