You bang the same old drum time and again and I don't think anyone disagrees that he appears to be a good promoter. However, the bigger picture is if the others don't raise their game then that will affect Matt Ford's business - especially when he is the only one left. Matt Ford needs other successfully run clubs to deliver his business model. He would also like more clubs, but im not sure thats likely to happen. If the EL Clubs payed all their debts today, it would be finished by the weekend.They are only Trading by not paying Riders and other Suppliers on time, or not at all. We aren't even into August yet....!!!! That's not a full season, it's just 17/18 meetings at home.. if we'd have ridden every week at home, our season would have been over by the end if June!! (Mid March to end of June is not a season, well, it's just about spring! Forget Summer, and forget Autumn!! No wonder regulars lose interest, it's no longer regular!!! Makes me wonder if the season starts too early. A lot of meetings in March and early April are run in cold, damp conditions. And now schools are on holiday, teams have fewer fixtures. It has been said countless times already and, at the risk of repeating it, supporters want to see a team that they can identify with. They are sick to death with riders not appearing because they are riding for one of their other teams.
