LisaColette
Worrall? Nuff said. Scores more than Nicholls at BV. Go and have a look at their scores at BV this year and get back to me Perhaps wait to see if his form improves because he usually pulls out all the stops when riding for his country. So does Harris!

Where was he when his country needed him last few years? Now he returns when we are straight to the final 🤔 I like Nicholls but his form has been worse than Cook & Harris esp at home.
SteveLyric2
Woffy wants King in so unless Rosco has other ideas, I expect it tobe Woffy, King, Lambert*, Cook and Ellis. (*only if Lambert is fully fit, otherwise S.Worrall)
Steve Shovlar
Woryna is at reserve and the only Poole rider he beat was Newman, once. Utter garbage.Harsh and slightly unfair comments on Woryna. He was trying hard in every heat he was in. Far worse riders in the Coventry team like Roynon, Barker and Bates. If these three put in half the effort of Woryna the score would have been closer.Woffy wants King in so unless Rosco has other ideas, I expect it tobe Woffy, King, Lambert*, Cook and Ellis. (*only if Lambert is fully fit, otherwise S.Worrall)Whoever the 4 are, they will finish adrift at the bottom in the final. And to think there's no room for riders like KK, Pepe and others in the Polish team! However, we go have some youngsters who in years to come can make TeamGB look a lot better. The way Ellis beat Harris and King last night showed real grit and determination Edited July 21, 2016 by Steve Shovlar

(*only if Lambert is fully fit, otherwise S.Worrall)Personally I wouldn't touch King with a barge pole, when he was at the back last night he was a loooooooooonnnnnngggg way behind and that's against riders who won't be in the World Cup!!!!! For me it has to be Woffinden,Lambert,Cook (or Harris) Steve Worrall and Ellis. An outside bet would be Kennett on this seasons EL form which has been far far superior to Kings. Struggling tounderstand why the British Under 21 champ and current 3rd I'm the World Under 21 doesn't deserve a place as reserve!! Oh yes that's right he doesn't ride for Poole.! Now he returns when we are straight to the final I like Nicholls but his form has been worse than Cook & Harris esp at home. He had his reasons for not riding in recent years as have others previously but he is a Belle Vue rider and has ridden extremely well for GB before so he should be in the team in my opinion. hagonshocker
Nicholls should be nowhere near this side for the reasons mdmc82 has previously stated plus his form around Belle Vue this year has been pish, clearly he isn't investing in the type of machinery that would be required to gain even 3rd places let alone race wins in a world cup. So to quote Simon it's a no from me also. Pick Nicholls?? Lol. That's funny! Stevie Worrall would be before Nicholls!! Stevie from Miranda would be better than Nicholls Edited July 21, 2016 by hagonshocker
ouch
Nicholls shouldn't be picked because he's not good enough and that therefore overrules any other reason.

He is not even doing a good job for the Aces against less than world class opposition!

mdmc82
Fair enough that is your opinion but i think Nicholls would do a good job in the world cup with home advantage. He's struggling for Belle Vue. His last 2 meetings at Belle Vue Leicester (1,1,1,0 = 3) Wolves. (0,0,2,1 = 3) As the Belle Vue riders & Tatum have said, there is no home track advantage at Belle Vue due to there being so many different race lines

Gemini
Well of course your going to say that, but anybody who says they are in it just for the taking part is a liar and i stick by that. We, are in it to win it.. Really good to see Barry Briggs and Brian Crutcher in attendance last night.. I know it must be hard for you to understand but first and foremost I am a fan of Speedway, not just one individual team, so I can still enjoy the racing even if Coventry don't win. It's obviously more enjoyable if they do but not the end of the World if they don't. As things stand at the moment though I am getting less and less interested in the Elite League as it lurches from one disastrous season to another so sorry to disappoint you but I'm not a liar when I say I'm not bothered.

Woz01
Harsh and slightly unfair comments on Woryna. He was trying hard in every heat he was in. Far worse riders in the Coventry team like Roynon, Barker and Bates. If these three put in half the effort of Woryna the score would have been closer. Oh the effort argument. Ask people about his 'effort' at Lakeside. He is in reserve, he is averaging around 4 at reserve, his average had gone down at reserve. He's just nowhere near good enough. Yes Bates and Barker had a bad night (bates clearly not 100% fit) but they've shown more form than Woryna recently.
Gavan
Plainly obvious Shovlar just posts for a reaction consistently putting down Bates who has achieved more on the World stage than Ellis this year. Bates smashed Holder and Hans the other week which he forgets. Oh and he kept going on and on about Adams injury but yet when Bates comes back from his he expects him to be banging in the points! It's what trolls do.
