To be honest, my Post regarding Niki was actually tongue in cheek. The Rider everyone loves to hate. A true Character. I, for one, will miss him when he retires. I missed Jack Millen too. The Sport nowadays doesn't really have the characters or entertainers it used too. For me Niki Pedersen goes against that, love him or hate him is always worth watching or listening too, even his rants.. Star Lady Posted July 13, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 13, 2016 The sponges could have been compressed, and tightly wrapped with fishing bait bag material (sort of Solvron type material) it dissolves quickly and leaves no trace. So in effect, they could have been the size of walnuts, and just dropped in... Also, it wouldn't of been mistaken identity either as all the riders names are plastered around their pit areas so that doesn't add up. But for the purpose that some shenanigans has gone on, one of the questions is when it could of possibly happened. And a foul mouthed bully on the track that not a lot of top riders appear to respect. Cry baby when things don't go his way, so no not ultra professional at all. Tai on the other hand is adored throughout the world, Nicki only seems popular in Denmark. Tai is the real deal. If I'm right, Neils said that the sponges were found before the meeting at Coventry on Monday. How often do mechanics check the fuel tanks? Unless you have a timeline of who had access to his equipment, before, during and after the GP and someone can say his fuel tank was sponge free at the critical time, you'll struggle to identify a culprit, if indeed there is one... In NKI case it can only hinder fuel flow. it would only hinder fuel flow on direct injection fuel system , speedway uses carbs so the tank fills the float chamber , a float chamber is enough to run a bike for 1/2 lap with fuel supply completely cut off , so even a reduced flow would still fill the float chamber faster than the engine can use it , so imo the sponge was used for fuel additive or water depending on who put it in and also iversen would of noticed the bike hesitating if it was fuel starvation , water in fuel would just make it feel slow Edited July 13, 2016 by THE DEAN MACHINE Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
