Spongegate

Recommended Posts

Are those sponges like for like and are they free-floating and in small pieces? There probably isn't a true comparison here.

they are static foam filled fuel tanks.. so no not floating around..

i think it would effect it.. but open to anyone with experience but as said i do believe it will hinder fuel flow rates..

Nicki P is Box office and it will be a very sad day for the sport when he retires, I can't say tai will have that effect.

See ya Nicki, Tai has time to redeem himself, on the other hand Nicki has been bad for soon long ..... and a worse sort of bad imo. Edited by Trees

Nicki P career has been ultra professional and at another level to tai, it will be a sad day for speedway when nicki retires.

Yep...the same NP that recently came out and quoted to a journalist 'I couldn't give a Fu** about the Danish Championship' and inferred he used it to test bikes.

Undoubted talent and entertainer....but your tirade against Tai has now become ridiculous...and bordering on obsessive. Give it a rest.

At least he turned up

So it's better to watch a rider 'racing' who you know couldn't give a flying feck about the meeting and is testing his bikes...really?

So he uses the same swear word to a journalist, couldn't give a toss about his own Championship, tests bikes at it...imo, that is a slap in the face to all the other riders competing in the meeting...shows no respect to them....and you deem him more professional than Tai. Speechless.

Are you sure he really tested bikes or was it a good bit of nicki p controversy to the media that people like you bite on. Edited by robert72

Thanks Gresham that's almost word for word what hubby said too. What confused me was Chris Louis saying it would have no effect

and from the size and shape of the sponge and the filler bit of the fuel tank it would require at least a bit of a push to insert it given the size and different shapes (stands back and awaits innuendo but couldn't think how else to word it  )

The sponges could have been compressed, and tightly wrapped with fishing bait bag material (sort of Solvron type material) it dissolves quickly and leaves no trace. So in effect, they could have been the size of walnuts, and just dropped in...
