Triple.H.
Good track at Daugavpils but avoid staying there it's the smelly armpit of Latvia
DutchGrasstrack
We had no problems at all when we went there for the SEC, by car all the way from Holland. It's cheap and good
uk_martin
quite like the idea of the Latvian GP for some reason. You an get to Daugavpils and back in a day from places like Riga, Kaunas and Vilnius, where there are plenty of budget flights to. Car hire there is reasonable, the roads are good, and the big towns have all the usual hotel options. As has been said, Daugavpils is not exactly a touristy place to spend a weekend but the other options make for a nice little excursion. moomin man 76
Togliatti - wasn't expecting that !! possibly GP to follow in 2018 ? I know it hasn't proved to be a problem so far with the SEC rounds at Togliatti, but a potential issue with staging the GP Challenge at Togliatti may well be getting Russian visas for certain riders. I would have thought a bigger problem would be logistics - pretty sure Onesport have transported all the bikes in one vehicle from Poland(probably with armed guards!!) I would think the organisers/FIM will have to do something similar.

I think there was a hold up for the bikes for the 2nd SEC meeting in Togliatti but that got sorted just in time

f-s-p
The people that have given the Challenge for Togliatti are aware of all the problems. Guess we just have to trust that all the issues are sorted and no one will have their van turned back at the border or bike forbidden entry due a lack of brown envelope. SCB
19.08 - Challenge - Togliatti Wasn't there a GP qualifier in Russia a few years ago that ended up with the majority of the field being Russians as riders couldn't get visa and had problems at the border? Korneliussen, Jaros, Klindt, Kennett, Legault, Fisher, Woelbert, Nieminen, Smolinski and Ferjan didn't make it to the meeting. The meeting ended up with only 15 riders. 10 Russian, 3 Polish, 1 Latvian and 1 Ukrainian.
