Presenter
I brought Nico out initially to wish a lady, who was sitting on the 2nd bend, a Happy Birthday. Then I thought whilst we were there I would show him your support.  He was very impressed to see all the different instruments you had and I asked him if he was at all musical and played anything.  The fact that you are having to ask on here what was said speaks volumes (pardon the pun) about the state of the PA at Foxhall.  I'm fast coming around to the idea that I am wasting my time, if the majority of supporters can't hear. Especially those, like yourselves, who are putting the effort in, in order to generate some atmosphere. It would be great if the banter could be reciprocated, but if you can't hear me what's the point.  I'll assess my position at the end of this season and if there are no planned improvements in the PA for next year, it may be time to call it a day at Foxhall.  It would be great if we could get that whole stand with noise making instruments. I imagine it could be really effective. Perhaps it could be a condition of entry to the stand that you have a bell, whistle etc  Carry on the good work.  Regards
mdmc82
took off mid bend and went into the airfence at a rate of knots off bend 2. Whacked his face. Looked very nasty. Big shame for him as he has been excellent overall for the Witches after a tough first few weeks. Hope he is feeling fit soon. Thanks. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Thanks. Coventry website saying he's withdrawn from tonight's meeting with a hand injury that could be the case. See the post above for why we may not have the full detail!!
TheScotsman
Excellent words from The Presenter. Â The PA system in that stand is certainly a joke. It's not just a lack of volume, there is so much echo as well. Â Nice to see a few Mildenhall supporters in front of us who had been there last week and came back for more this week!! Might give them a cow bell next week!!
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Â Note to presenter It would be sad day if you chose to stand down. I think you are rightly perceived as one of the most accomplished mic men in British Speedway. I believe the problem is isolated to peculiar sections (quite apt for us) of the stand where opposing speakers are not in sync making it difficult to pick up clearly from either! Perhaps we should move closer to the knitting zombies again! wink
2ndbendbeerhut
Maybe kids could be given free whistles or blow horns to help? Not expensive either.. Finally getting some of the riders to aknoledge we are there.. Whilst others just sail past! Always seems to be the away riders that wave! Â Edit... could we have our own speaker Kevin? Super Blue
I did email Spedeworth but got the stat answer of the sound system upgrading is all part of the ongoing stadium developments. In other words not anytime soon! Â And Kevin, your efforts are much appreciated, a shame we can't reciprocate when we don't know what you're saying. Anyway back to the instruments , it was just an idea the group had a few weeks ago to try and inject some life into very subdued atmosphere . Yes we are not to every ones liking and apologies to anyone who has sat near the group over the past few weeks and not enjoyed our rather comedy attempts at music .  We come for a night out and some fun and just thought that we would show the riders home and visiting alike appreciation for there efforts on the track . We've had some funny looks past few weeks from a few riders but last night Kevin Doolan must have heard our sweet music and after his heat 15 win on a ride past put his hand up to our merry band .  Thank you again Mr Presenter from bringing Nico over to the back straight stand and we'll be back again same time next with instruments in hand ready to show our support . Baldyman
Thanks for the reply Kevin, awsome stuff. As bruv said, defo one of the best presenters, don't give us up. I would to see all season ticket holders given witches scarfs or something like that at start of season to help make everyone feel more together. The more atmosphere the better in my opinion. Just watch some of the Polish league matches, great atmosphere. Would love foxhall to be more like that. Thanks again Kevin

Reviresco
Looks like another major asset to the Club considering moving on due to the terrible inter club relationship caused solely by Chris Louis who refused point blank to acknowledge the Massif at last week's Rye House match even though he was encouraged to "Give Us A Wave". The sooner he moves to grinning on Sky Sports the better for all I think. Totally jacked off with the way he, his dad and Mike Smillie (do not) run the Club. Â Thank you and Goodbye Chris Louis. We acknowledge you and your dad's great service to the Club, now do one please... Â If you can't be bothered to fix an errant speaker, or Smillie cannot be arsed to fork out of the Club coffers, solely for the benefit of your paying support, you are not fit to wear the promoter's hat at Foxhall Heath. Imagine JB not fixing something like that, immediately. Â (Pointed enough for you Baldyman, lol?)

Alan R Horne
A very easy win over a hapless Berwick side who looked a joke to have a position of 2nd in the league and on this form look more capable of changing places with the Witches. Â An excellent debut for Connor and how good it was to have scoring reserves for the first time this season, just a shame CL leaves it to late to acknowledge the fact that we knew at the start of season. Â The usual aloof CL still gets up the supporters noses but thats been a fact ever since he took charge. Time for new promoters as can be seen by the few hundred fans that went and half of them ticket holders. Â My opinion is the Witches are gradually being run into the ground and will not survive like this much longer.

2ndbendbeerhut
Hope you stay behind the mic Kevin but if you don't you could always join us. Sure we could find you an instrument to blow on or a bell to ring!
Reviresco
I take it then that Chris Louis is no longer on your Christmas card list.  I think it was the other way round, but no he will not be NeP. About time the fans who pay £16 plus £2.50 for a ridiculously sized programme spoke up. If I can't help promote then I will point out where the promotion is falling down from now on in. To think the Mike Smillie used to stand on the terraces with me in the 70's / 80's.... And yes Mike I do remember staying over at your house in Ipswich after a long away coach trip, but I also remember you booing JL when he came back with Halifax and was involved in that famous incident with Tim Hunt. I was embarrassed to be an Ipswich fan that night, when the returning hero was booed. Disgusting.  You're obviously holding back now Macca, I think you should say what you really think!  And by the way, thanks for naming and bringing the Massif to life.  I will certainly acknowledge your contribution to its creation.   Thank you SB. My job may be done, but you guys can take it to a new level.... just like a Supporters Club would have done. Owned by and run by. A great pity but I guess £ talks....  Hehe, no holding back now. If you want to PM me with any grievances, please feel free (or three, lol)
New era Panthers
Does anyone know who was going round after meeting in the black and green? Yep I think you will find it was Danish youngster Tobias Thomsen who was also doing the rounds at the showground last night along with Jake Knight who was also putting some laps in
