Ipswich Vs Berwick 14/7/16

Recommended Posts

Had a crash in second ride and had blood pouring from nose.

Great to see to scoring reserves last night, just what we have needed all season, capped off with a great ride by Connor in heat 12.

To the Massif, I think the wind changed direction at one point last night and just about heard the bells from the home straight, I hope you didn't upset the surrounding people. At least you get the recognition you deserve from the presenters now. Will we hear the cowbells at the fours?

Great performance from all the team tonight, ok sarj was a bit trigger happy with his clutch but hey ho!

I think the refs take to much into what is said about Sarj's starts and his reputation goes against him. Fair enough he moved on the first running of heat one last night, but so did Pijper as it was him who caught his peak on the tapes but only Sarj gets warned.. In the rerun Sarj didn't move at all but the ref excluded him for jumping. There were more jump starts in the following races but the ref let them go, no consistencies from the refs but only going on reputation when Sarj has good reactions at the start.

Any news on why Sarjeant withdrew?

took off mid bend and went into the airfence at a rate of knots off bend 2.

Whacked his face. Looked very nasty. Big shame for him as he has been excellent overall for the Witches after a tough first few weeks.

Hope he is feeling fit soon.

They wasn't too bad at the Dump in April though was they...

One flash in the pan doesn't make a forest fire.

They were Mince last night.

But respect to Tom Dooliean for acknowledging the Massif after his heat 15 win!!

We are quite a bit above both your teams in the league as well though...I do understand they was mince last night, suprised Pijper was so bad as he has been incredibly consistant this season so far

I only have 1 team!!

And Banditos are only up there because they have ridden more matches than anyone else and 4 more home matches than us and Worky and 5 more than Newcy.

Assuming Peterborough beat you tonight you might well drop another 2 places by the end of the night since Somerset should win too..

So you need a recovery soon otherwise Newcy, us and possibly Worky will be on your tail.

Thought we might have got something at Ipswich but 3 riders don't win a meeting. Hopefully Berwick can get something tonight at Peterborough even a draw would help.

you really should take our league position with a pinch of salt, reality will kick in if the weather improves.

Weather conditions should be good at the showground tonight and on recently bladed track with a new surface of shale here's your chance against the team fresh from a home beating against the club that sat at the basement of the league. Or are your team really the city slickers.

Does anyone know who was going round after meeting in the black and green?

I believe he was a young Danish lad from Brovst.

Morten was out talking with him after so thats makes perfect sense.

Sorry dont have a name though!

Good performance from the Witches , not a good night for Sarjeant thou hope his not too banged up after his nasty looking crash last night . Very poor from the Bandits was expecting alot more from them only Doolan and Jorgensen showed any fight last night . Feel sorry for any Bandits fans that made the journey thats a long way to come to watch most of your team not bother to turn up . Just like the Witches did up at Berwick !!!

Well done Connor Mountain great debut for the Witches on that showing alot more bookings to come i'd say . Happy with either Mountain or Hume for the rest of the season , two keen young English lads wanting to learn and progress their carers further .

King looking better with each week , looks like we have our big scoring Captain back .

Don't know if there were any down from Berwick itself, but there was a Bandits fan down from Newcastle and four up from Hoddesdon.... Oh, and a couple of Rye House fans, three if you include Macca
