montie
When Ostergaard and Cook are riding flat out to the fence and getting no drive at all it shows how little material there was on the track! After 40 years of watching speedway at the showground I don't think I have ever seen it as slick as that. If it isn't changed I dread to think what it will be like for the 4's!!! The race times seemed about normal and track is same for both teams there also seemed to be quite alot of passing providing an entertaining meeting, and with rain around the area it does make track prep quite hard i must say
semion
Losing Kings Lynn Rider Simon 'Rambo Lambo' Lambert ( who comes up with these **** names ?)is the catalyst for the this defeat. Now Lynn have sorted out Jakobson still P'Boro cant get him performing for them. Maybe Ged should get Dale back to help out
Lukas
You can keep NBJ..he's no good for us...i would have thought they would have piled the dirt on in anticipation of the rain but it was more like a big Lakeside track lastnight..Total respect goes to Cook and Ulrich for busting a gut round the outside but nothing more they could do..Panthers used to go all season unbeaten at home with an average team because the track was so grippy and this was a big home advantage..now its the opposite and makes for poor racing, then we will have nothing to ride for because we are out if everything and then poor attendance's...it needs sorting. Baldyman
Didn't any of them try the inside line? Can often be the fastest way round at the end of a meeting.

Tsunami
perhaps artificial grass doesn't count Apparently concrete at KL doesn't qualify either.

They tried, but when Ostrich and Cook are riding a metre from the fence then you know where the quickest route is. Updates several times says a rider went upthe inside...including Auty in heat 15 or at least second quickest a few times last night anyway.... Haha good reply! thebaron
Absolutely brilliant Scunny; we really have the bit between our teeth and sense there is a galvanising of the team spirit and wanting to turn the season around. Panthers have really made a mullocks of their team; rewind to the League Cup tie at the start of the season; when they walloped us out of site. They looked polished and a real force. Could not look much beyond them for the eventual League winners. But; tearing up that 1-7 to get Cook in on such a high average has weakened them no end. Great for us because we got our "night watchman" MPT back and clearly he had a point or 15 to prove last night. Off the bottom now and three points off mid table; so there is all to ride for. If we get our in match; in race management right; and the evidence is we can; then by no means discount Scunny squeezing into to those play-offs. Edinburgh- Home Sunday; and there's a really good vibe about the Scorpions now.
New era Panthers
But Cookie was nearly a second faster in heat 6. I was there and watched 15 races with riders busting a gut and getting nowhere trying to go around the outside heat1 is usually a good guide of track preparation .
TheScotsman
But it was Wilko that won it.

And Cookie try as he might couldn't get enough drive around the outside to get any where near him that should tell you what it was like
