Coventry V Poole. 15/07/2016 Elb

Recommended Posts

Well done to the team, KK was class, King was awesome to watch riding that outside line in heat 15, and great to see Josh Bates progressing so well, he looked smooth and stylish out in front.

Just highlights what a bunch of clowns our club is run by, had we swapped Woryna for a better rider a few weeks ago we would have had a few more points on the board and could have been getting excited about challenging for a play-off spot. Too late now, we could swap him for Woffinden and we still wouldn't be able to make up enough ground on the top 4.

And they still can't manage to open the second car park gate despite the fact they sent the tractor over just before 7 o clock to move the concrete drums out of the way. They have no respect for their paying customers who turn up every week or for the Poole fans who've travelled all that way.

We've certainly had some good meetings and last heat deciders to see the stadium off this year.

No, it's not a title winning team, but it's got a bit of fight in it and is providing some decent action at Brandon.

Get up there and give the team a shout whingers. When it's gone it's gone.

Don't think it's going quite yet.

Interesting the raving about Bates. Gated like a rocket in his first two but then Ellis had him around the outside and was never troubled and inhis final ride was stone last when he fell. Good little rider when he gates. Doesn't have a clue from the back. Hopefully he will learn what to do when he has riders in front.

The stadium staff control the car park and are obviously concerned about filthy gypos returning to the site. Not really much the promotion can do as they don't control this aspect.

Bit of a farce getting in if you have a pushchair, both gates sending you to the other one. . . .anyway result made up for all the messing about.

Smack on with my prediction. Only one person responsible for that. Step foward captain Hans, well done on your pathetic performance tonight. Turned a 4-2 into a3-3 by throttling off early and then did a Mike Yarwood impersonation of Davey Watt.

The rest of the tteam battled well until Holders first bike blew up and his last two rides were on a slower engine.

Coventry won it because they battld and took advantage of Andersens woeful effort. Well done to them.

Bees buzzed and Pirates sank despite supersub. Great finale for Coventry as we bow out for good.

Like a young Bjarne Pedersen.

Seems a bit harsh when you compare him as an edr to Poole's latest big money aussie signing. (well he was before THE latest big money Aussie signing, lol!)

£ for £ bates is much better value than kurtz.

Happy to see all you Brits improve including Bates. Needs to learn to pass though. Had no answer to Ellis.

Bates V Kurtz? Not compareable even now.

Come back with the same question in a couple of years time. Assuming you are still on here..

Who'd have thought flogging the Speedway Star could make someone so angry?

No, just defending a rider who will be different class to Bates in a couple of years time.. Can't knock Bates he's done well. But its down to him how good he wants to be, same applies to Brady.

At present the word is could or should, not will
