mdmc82
Poole are we weaker having Bjarne in reserve and Ellis in the 1-5. Ellis would score more in reserve that he will at second string and Bjarne would probably score the same as second string or reserve. The issue is also not riders moving into the 1-5 but that the format allows reserves to have easy meetings and get higher averages (unless you're Woryna!). The difference is Pedersen can now replace Ellis or anybody who struggles in the team. That's where it makes them stronger

poole keith
its silly everybody continually going on about this yrs reserve system every promoter and every supporter now knows it was a mistake, but as jethro would say "thats geography" hortons biggest mistake was not in his agm voting but in his total ineptitude in working out how this rule would affect 2016 team building, starting with kk,harris, king and garrity in a weak league is good going, from there he ends up with a poor team, just got to put his hands up and admit he got it wrong,it happens.
LisaColette
Plus even if we didn't sign Bjarne, Davey Watt would have been reserve at some point. So was always evitable really.
TesarRacing
Expect an easy win for the Pirates tonight. Can't see Bellego scoring much. He only scored 7+1 from 5 last night on his home track. Roynon is a slight improvement on Sarj. Pedersen is usually good round Brandon IIRC so I would be surprised if he scores less than 10!

Sarjeant crashed on Thursday when racing for Ipswich and suffered a hand injury. His place tonight is to be taken by squad member Adam Roynon. View Full Site Shame for Sarjeant , he did give the air fence a right clout . Picked up some grip coming off bend 2 and bike just took off . Steve Shovlar
You forget, if Poole say black is white, it's white! Get over yourself! Anyway the reserve heats favour Coventry tonight. The best we can hope for is a 3-3 in the two heats, and the chances are one of Roynon or Bellego will pop out in front of Bjarne. Up to our heat leaders to beat KK, Harris and King. Easier said than done. Then its Bates and Barker against Kurtz and Buck. Home track advantage gives Coventry the edge. Should be very close as always when Poole go to Brandon. Bee 26
Easy win for Poole tonight with Pedersen cleaning up at reserve. We'll be lucky to keep it within

Steve Shovlar
Ridiculous for Coventry fans to write their team off. They came bback from 12 down in the A fixture to win. Why can't they win tonight?

Why can't they win tonight?I would love nothing more than to be wrong. However after watching us use a TR at home & still lose to a poor King's Lynn team, can you see why I'm not confident against a stronger team Our main problem is we don't wake up until heat 9 which is too late Edited July 15, 2016 by mdmc82

bluebee
On paper this looks like a big Poole win. Fortunately the teams don''t ride on paper so hoping for a Bees win by at least 6 points. Would be very grateful if someone could post a weather update. BBC weather suggests light cloud and doesn't mention rain so fingers crossed for a good match tonight. I'll be setting off about 6.30 from Northampton.

Cheers, thanks for that. Haven't been able to get to a meeting so far this season so looking forward to seeing what could be the last Brandon win over the Pirates
