Don't be a fool, they don't all stand together.Only after the fiasco on Saturday did i realise there were so many Lynn fans there. They weren't all standing between 1st and 2nd bend with me.

Agree, but don't bother wasting your time arguing with Starman. The two Kings Lynn fans we were due to meet at the track were going to be on the 4th bend but they very wisely decided to not pay to go in until they heard the sound of bikes revving up. Unfortunately we didn't wait as we had no idea the match wouldn't be going ahead. The track looked no worse than Coventry's did the night before.

How do people know how many are there.Several people go and support their team and not wear the colours. For instance i see loads of Lynn fans at Leicester Saturday not wearing the colours. So its pretty hard to put a number on the amount of away fans that attend different meetings.

They make noise is often a bit of a clue :D Not really supporting your team if you turning up in neutral clothing and make no noise for them are you?

Oh rubbish. So i have to spend £40-50 on a jacket or something to say i'm supporting my team.I go to watch my team and spend £51 on admission alone on most weeks thats support enough thankyou. How often to you go and spend money to support your team.#

Oh i have a pen that cost me a £1 last week as i forgot to take my plain pen with no speedway emblazoned on it.

I have spent plenty on my speedway team over the last 30 years without having to spend more on clothing etc. This dosen't make me a lesser supporter of my team to anyone else.

A lot of "speedway clothing" is poor anyway. I would far rather wear "neutral clothing". Still make a bit of noise, though. But there's a market there for somebody if you can actually come up with "speedway clothing" which can match that of high street brands for quality.

It doesn't cost anything to make some noise! It'd usually pretty obvious if theres anyone there supporting an away team. I maintain that if you sit there making no noise and just watching the racing you're not really supporting your team are you?

Anyway, stop making it about you! It was a general, "how can you tell how many away fans are there", if we're talking you alone the answer is, "not many at all"

You can be left in no doubt Steve Shovlar was there!! And i believe he was dressed in neutral clothing.

Yes they do at our place. All on bends 1-2. with a big Aces flag on bend one. Maybe a few sat in the grandstand but the majority stand together.. But im sure you will dispute that...

Most away fans have to go on bend 1 at The Blue Groove Arena as no one can get in to the grandstand at Poole.

Most of the Silver Threads get there early, about 5.30, just after bingo has finished and as long as some member of your family gets there early they can also reserve all the seats round them. It doesn't say that on the admission ticket but they do it anyway. They usually put a scarf down, similar in length to the one Tom Baker used when he was Dr Who, just so those late comers, who haven't got a motorised scooter, can have got a lovely seat. 👍

And before you deny it, been in the grandstand on three occasions and seen it every time!

Lol! This actually doesn't surprise me. But you are supposed to give up seats for the elderly anyway! ;) What should it say on the ticket? 'Don't even think about sitting down unless you live in a 10 mile radius' or 'you've had a long journey another few hours on you feet won't do any harm' !! :D
