Fingers crossed we get the win you never know the Bees might find some form as its the pirates but hope that we are still riding against you next year as it gives me no pleasure thinking otherwise unlike certain supporters who think otherwise they know who they are lets face it its the sport that matters

So Mick Horton will be "addressing" the fact that Bjarne lines up at reserve for Poole? What's to address at this stage of the season exactly? Poole, like every club, have played by the rules and built a team to EL 2016 standard. Mick, on the other hand, effectively chose to build us a PL standard team at the start of the year, knowing that opportunities to change mid season would be virtually non-existent.

Yes, it a real pain, however I note the gates are also blocked by the oil drums filled with concrete joined together with a pole and probably requires a tractor to move it. Probably used to prevent our traveler friends from sticking their caravans on the car park. Looks like another stadium wind down action. Promotion probably desperate to avoid the playoffs so that the lights are not required again, as they probably dont work either.

Is he seriously trying to pull that one? It pains me to say this as a Bees fan but Poole have done absolutely nothing wrong. Not their fault this is how the rules have let it get to.

Coventry could have done exactly the same if they had got Garrity to do 4 damn meetings in reserve and signed a better rider than Woryna, but we've all seen how well Garrity's 'choice' has got the team haven't we?

Not surprised we're nearly bottom with ambition like that. Say what you want about Poole but at least they want to win. Something sadly our promotion lack.

I'll be there anyway although I'm not quite sure what I'm letting myself into.

Bees 39-51 Poole

Where is Mr Watson these days to answer about egret from Stadium car park. When gates are closed people are driving in between cars/people in an attempt to get out this I would have thought is a greater contravention of Public safety than the bridge that seems oft regularly closed due to guess what "elf and safety give" where is the common sense it's dangerous Mr Watson!!

It never works like that. When was the last time Poole had a thumping away win?

Ellis Perks is not going to get near a point. Bjarne is nowhere near the rider he once was. On Wednesday he scored well but against who? He looked slow and tentative to be honest. Can see Bates and Barker giving him serious problems.

This is going to be extremely close. 4 points in it.

It's quite obvious he is on about the rule voted in this year. He was clear early on that he was against it and he is right. Roscoe also has said it was rushed through. He's addressed it in the past and with Bjarne in the reserve position highlights that what was bought in was wrong with virtually no thought put into it. Don't see why he can't convey his thoughts on the matter.

Its not as if Bjarne is a heat leader dropping to reserve, with Ellis taking his place in the 1-5 - he's only a reasonable 2nd string these days and clearly not scoring that consistently otherwise he wouldn't be riding at reserve..

Agree with SS, whilst Bjarne still has good gating ability, he does look slowish and sluggish compared to some of the younger racers!! This can be a problem when he's out front to begin with as it allows those behind to believe they can pass him.

I think tonight will be another close one and wouldn't like to call it!!

Ok we get it. You are no stronger having experienced Bjarne Pedersen at reserve against PL Bellego &Roynon so it's going to be close.

Back here in the real world, I expect him to hit double figures on a track he rides well and for it to be a easy away win

Pedersen has been on the decline for years and last season proved that when he struggled to make a 4 point average at Leicester, although some Poole apologists were pointing to the fact there were personal issues last year but he is still a dependable rider.

In reserve he can struggle but still score double figures which I fully expect him to most matches.

It's no surprise he has ended up in reserve and whilst some promoters are quick to point out all that is wrong with the EDR riders moving up they voted it thru.

Lessons learned should be to spent more time thinking, planning and discussing the future and rules before voting on these things.

THEY are the ones that enabled this mess to happen so stop bleating about how wrong it all is and concentrate on voting for the RIGHT rules in seasons to come so you won't look so foolish once the season starts and the flaws they missed start occurring.

Another Horton rant?? I love those! Lol :D Matt wants the rule changed anyway so going on about it is pointless unless he talks to Chapman to try and sort it out.

Now I know you hate all things Coventry but calling that a rant? No way as he was just saying he was against the rule in the first place, as was your beloved leader, and I think all the promoters have probably realized by now how stupid it was. I think next season SCB should sit in at the promoters conference and have some input because he seems to have a much better idea of the best rules and regulations to pass than any of them do.

I think they now all do! Nothing wrong going on about it because frankly it was absurd it got voted in. Just show the bspa isn't fit for purpose when the likes of Horton knew the issues it would cause.

Unfortunate for James but a chance for Adam to stake a claim for more meetings.

Poole are we weaker having Bjarne in reserve and Ellis in the 1-5. Ellis would score more in reserve that he will at second string and Bjarne would probably score the same as second string or reserve.

The issue is also not riders moving into the 1-5 but that the format allows reserves to have easy meetings and get higher averages (unless you're Woryna!).
