foamfence
Of course. That's the freedom of the forum. But if someone had started a thread and said in the first post something along the lines of: 'The form of Harris is a bit of a worry with the SWC coming up. Should he perhaps be looking at X, Y and Z to improve matters' and made some constructive criticisms, this would probably be a 10-page thread with some positive contributions. As it is, it appears to have been launched simply to have a pop at the rider. Speaking as someone who watches Wolves when the chance arises, and thus partially through gritted teeth, it's never a hardship to see him in action. A standard Harris EL season is seven to eight points and a stack of memories. Wish we had more like him. Slightly an 'over the top' reply to my question but thank you for responding. foamfence
Really, in what way? Well I only asked a very simple question (of someone else) and I didn't quite agree with the original point about 'we should all back him.' I was really objecting to the notion that all riders are gods and beyond criticism.
Fourentee
OK, fine, thanks. Should 'we' not be allowed to criticise something when 'we' feel that criticism is warranted? Yes.
TheReturn
Should 'we' not be allowed to criticise something when 'we' feel that criticism is warranted? Not on this forum no, it's not allowed, well it is, but only if your forum face fits.
SCB
Not on this forum no, it's not allowed, well it is, but only if your forum face fits. You're kidding right? This forum is 80-90% criticising!
RobMcCaffery
Not on this forum no, it's not allowed, well it is, but only if your forum face fits. Round objects. I do believe there was a case where one persistent offender kept boring the pants off everyone by constantly, to the point of obsessively, banging on about one person involved in media coverage of the sport. The offender eventually disappeared only to come back with an even sillier false name in order to whinge that they weren't allowed to criticise. So I'm told. Seems a little unlikely that anyone could be so desperately sad so obviously can't be true.
Woz01
It seems Bomber performance at Cardiff was hampered by an injury he got in the week, his missus didn't want him to ride Monday which shows he was genuinely struggling. Bomber never gives up never will. Would I have him in the GB team? Not sure, but one thing is if he was named we all know he'd give that little bit more than most. sparkafag
If he was injured I do feel genuinely sorry for him, and there is enough of a body of evidence to suggest Harris would race injured but.there is also enough of a body of evidence to suggest that injured or not Bomber has a duff Grand Prix in him, but, he also as the GP previous showed has a decent meeting in him as well. I do feel Harris is assessed in an incredibly odd way at times, this notion of be more better when it comes to the Grand Prix or stop being last or simply sod off and let someone else do it do it is more fun for me as a viewer, I just find incredibly harsh In order to be more better or stop being last he needs to beat better riders, that same logic and those same rules apply re him not being in the Grand Prix, or not consistently being Britains second best rider. If others were better, he wouldnt still be either of those things, it is probably better to direct any anger/fury/criticism at them for him still being better than them. The sad/odd thing is the best thing for Harris probably will be when he isnt in the Grand Prix, Team GB Squad, Elite League and people then say.you know what we could do with Harris Edited July 13, 2016 by The Mockingjay

I'm Pleased to hear that he was injured in a strange way . obviously I dont want to see him injured in any way , but it does explain his lacklustre performance , after the last Gp I thought he had turned a corner and was back to the Bomber of 2010 , and couldnt understand how different he was in just 2 weeks ,now I know and hopefully this injury will subside and he'll be able to give us his best in the world Cup
