flagrag
With regards to the delays in getting into the stadium does anybody know why the stadium didn't use gate 1 which is the river walk one like in previous years ? This would not have helped with entrance delays as normally fans sitting on bend 2 and parts of the back straight would use gate 1 instead they all had to go in at gate 7 at the opposite end of the stadium.
Shadders
Say the guy who wants to work for the BBC, talking about the guy that works for the BBC. Sound to me like you're jealous of my success Sweetie xx The blokes an absolute bell end SCB. Hate, bile & envy oozing out of his veins. A very sad individual. The Doctor...
No SCB thinks he knows it all. But he doesn't. Oh you help at the GP as well. What else do you do.. Past tense. I was part of the fuel team at Cardiff for a good few years with fellow forum members Rico, Henry W, and Mateusz. Nothing flash, but was an nice experience for us all. Guaranteed accommodation at decent rates, a bit of pin money for the actual work, and all areas passes - and still the chance to meet Scb, Shovvy, and many others in the Prince of Wales before the meeting aswell for a beer. Good memories..

OGT
The definition of charismatic is someone or something with a compelling and charming personality or traits that are attractive and alluring to others. An example of a charismatic person is someone who everyone likes and wants to be around because of his compelling personality. Sound like Tai Woffinden to anyone? Yes But I guess people who think Last of the Summer Wine is the funniest sitcom ever would say no. Edited July 25, 2017 by OGT

This would not have helped with entrance delays as normally fans sitting on bend 2 and parts of the back straight would use gate 1 instead they all had to go in at gate 7 at the opposite end of the stadium. I was told it was closed for security reasons as it allowed them to re-locate the staff from those gates to the others to help with searches etc. I was also told it would only be open in an emergency as an exit but I found the route back under the stadium and back out by gate 3 thanks to a helpful steward. stevebrum
Maybe one reason why the attendance fell this year is because some people may not be able to relate to Tai Woffinden. Hes the only GB rider in the GP's so he should be loved by everyone. But 1) he does not ride in the British speedway league 2) he does not ride in the British Championship 3) probably worst of all - he does not ride for GB 4) some dont like the tatoos he has - of all the top GB atheletes/sportsperson he is the one with the most that are visible. 5) some do not like the swearing he comes out with in normal conversation.. Of course, some on this forum dont mind any of the above, but equally there are some that do object to some if not all of the above. The crowd seems to be less then before, and some who were there say that not as much cheering for Tai. . And in more accurate news...... Tai received the biggest cheers all night, the darling of the crowd. 40+ thousand is an excellent attendance.

Daniel Smith
Some people are so anti Tai it's unbelievable and just refuse to open their eyes. He's very much annoyed me in recent weeks but at Cardiff he was absolutely brilliant with supporters. Even stopped to sign, chat & have selfies with fans round the town centre. My new partners lad is very very happy to have got a picture with him. The fans certainly didn't just blow their horns to just be partisan, it was genuine support for the guy Tai Woffinden. The money being exchanged for Woffy merchandise was incredible too. It opened my eyes that in reality, Woffinden not riding in & for Britain, missing the British Final is totally irrelevant to most. The Speedway World Championship is where it is, as for his lap of honour, a great gesture to go round and say thanks for the support and show his disappointment in not at least making the semi finals. He was gutted.
Shadders
Says the person who's never met me.. Not necessary in this case. I can usually judge a character by reading their output. Sometimes they're just normal everyday people who are bored and want a giggle, but you trawl the forum adding ridiculous comments, provoking arguments all over the place. Nobody likes you, Typical internet troll.

Theres a lovely photo on twitter of him in McDonalds with a young fan after the meeting at a time when other riders were off out getting a nice nourishing meal in a nice restaurant. What a star! Can't see this being true, Tai Woffinden has only this weekend quoted the ' Danish kebab house story' in 2 major newspaper articles. To be seen eating in Mcdonalds would somewhat undermine his credibility .
