Tai Woffinden

Recommended Posts

you really need to get out more mate, what has this young lad done to make you so negative about everything he says or does? As far as I'm aware he behaves like a typical adrenaline junkie, but just a bit better at what he does than most. So he swore on TV, hardly murder or rape is it.

Tai, some of us are proud of you, and thank you for all of your fundraising for underprivileged people.

Tai has let down British speedway, I think he is a total embarrassment now and dropping him from team GB would be best for all.

I think you will find a lot of people and families do fundraising, it's a lot easier for him to do but credit for that and credit on how good he is on a bike.

I felt for lindback as tai didn't win but wanted the winners attention from the crowd, he is a bad loser and has done that a couple of times now, time he grew up.

You had the chance to speak to tai over the weekend and tell him what you thought. Guaranteed you never though.

Cant understand either backing Woffinden, or offering up various excuses, surely a World champion and professional sportsman shouldn't need to be told not to swear during an on camera interview.

Maybe Davina McCall should make an announcement before the interviews

Exactly, A world champion should behave with dignity. Clearly the word dignity is not in Tai Woffinden's dictionary!

It added nothing, showed him as lacking the ability to string a coherent sentence together without using swear words and frankly if that is the quality of a world champion who is obviously unable to conduct himself then it says it all about the lack of intellect and poor education he must have received. Tai I suggest you engage your brain before opening your mouth and think about the wider audience.

This is a Link I placed on here earlier. It's a 'Daily Star' article that Peter Oakes had with Tai Woffinden in which the latter makes some observations on his education. Perhaps they will enlighten you more about his background - the article certainly did that for me.

You will now be under attack from the tai the perfect role model does no wrong brigade.

I think you will find tai was not the nicest of school kids and was expelled

Let's face it - a fair proportion of modern day riders are hardly University Challenge material.

The Speedway Star pen picture type articles were full of riders saying how they struggled at school.

Probably explains why so many have no comprehension of how their conduct or attitude adversely impacts the sport in the UK.

Tai isn't a perfect role model and neither should he be. It's not his job to be a role model.

We defend because he's constantly attacked & it's British mentality thing for some reason. Always love a loser but knock down winners

Andy Murray

Lewis Hamilton

Tai Woffinden

All 3 are born winners but are not liked by large numbers for varying reasons.

No it's not ..when did someone say it was ?

some are calling for a fine or to be made an example of for some reason. I say some, I mean numpties.

The biggest problem with all this is those who defend tai and he seems surrounded by them so he has no chance of being a better person.

and you have no chance of not being a bigot.

So you didn't....

Of course he didn't , a keyboard troll it is clear to see.

Lewis Hamilton is hugely liked around the world plus a nice person so disagree on that one plus not many people around the world would know who tai is but the other two are worldwide stars.

Spot on.

It would appear those in the stadium didn't hear it, those of us who watched on TV obviously did, re-inforced by overkill by BT. I'm sure those of us defending Tai, are not condoning his use of the swear word, just the over reaction of some on here who are using this to once again put the lad down.

It's just darn crazy to want the best rider in the world to be sacked from the National team for a swear word!!

Yep British mentality all over

Robert72 your invite to question Tai is still on i promise he wont tell you to F**K off..

If he cuts ties with the UK you will all moan again.. all this for one word after a great performance in front of his home crowd.. none of you have had 10's of thousands of people shouting after you.. i bet its hard to keep anything in.. but you all think he did it on purpose so hang him..
