Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 13/7/16 Elite Lge B

Recommended Posts

Kennett and Bridger at 2 & 4 could well put Poole's 2nd strings under a bit of pressure - especially if its r/r for Ellis, although Poole can use Buzz, Brady, Bjarne and whoever is guest for Kyle Newman if Poole do get a facility?!?!

Rules don't allow RR for Ellis. It has to be a guest from FTD.

When is Newman due back?

Why would Poole get a facility for an EDR? It has already been shown that if an EDR in the top 5 is out - he is still an EDR and subject to the replacement rules for them - not a 1-5 rider.

When is Newman due back?

When he's fit enough to return. And not before..

Spoke briefly to Kyle in Cardiff. On the mend and really annoyed to be missing. Said he just got ploughed into. Said if it happened two weeks earlier he wouldn't have missed much. At least two maybe three weeks away from a return. Edited by Steve Shovlar

It will go the way of the majority of our other away performances over the past 4-5 years:

- Start pretty well whilst keeping it close.

- Maybe even have a couple of points lead by Heat 6(ish).

- After the interval, (Spin) Doctor Cook & Mr. Motivator Tatum will have run out of travel sickness pills.

- We will subsequently collapse from thereon in.........generally losing by something around 12 - 14 points.

The following day, our website will communicate how

"it was a disappointing result"

that "we must improve our away performances"

but "riders will be spoken to"

and no doubt "we realise that to keep our play-off hopes alive, we need to pick up points on the road" (10/10 for stating the bleedin obvious)!

Different month, different away track.........same utter management drivel.

But no doubt, we aren't the only team in that position.

According to the European Speedway Calendar the Polish (NICE) division 1 has a full racing programme on Wednesday which, on the face of it, rules out Andersen, Pedersen and Kurtz for Poole. Possibly this was the reason for the original fixture having been scheduled for today.

This fixture was originally scheduled for Wednesday then brought forward to today before being switched back to Wednesday when it was deemed there were no (or few) fixture clashes. Bjarne certainly has the Poole fixture on his Wednesday calendar.

You actually seem to do better with guests looking at the Lakeside win

Which was in place first, this or Poland?

Not a question that has ever seriously bothered the Polish authorities.

With the same track man, Lakeside always seem to do ok at Wimborne Road!!

Although with this morning's update - No Eddie Kennett due to ear infection - who knows?? Plenty of guest options subject to their availability?!
