StevePark
In case my previous post is misleading anyone, I must point out that my comment "It's a shambles" was directed at speedway in general - and not directed at Newcastle. Speedway is in big trouble, it's dying on it's feet. It has taken for granted the supporters who are the life blood of our sport. It needs a big re-think, a big shake up before it's too late. "The Mackem" That's hopefully going to happen over the winter and, indeed, steps are already being discussed.

StevePark
Could be R/R for Alex Davies, as he was injured today (Sunday).
cheviot
not good to say but for once a rain off might be an advantage to us
Tsunami
not good to say but for once a rain off might be an advantage to us No, I think we should be OK tonight. There is a dash of rain late afternoon, but bright sunshine after that. Less watering for Jonny I reckon.
StevePark
not good to say but for once a rain off might be an advantage to us After all the recent call-offs, the last thing Newcastle Speedway needs is another call-off.

Tsunami
After all the Electrical work at the Stadium call off`s Annoying that the first cancelled meeting/s for electrical work that the Stadium did NOT carry out. StevePark
After all the Electrical work at the Stadium call off`s Yeah, completely overlooking the FOUR rain-offs we've had, which is technically five, as one was a double-header. bigcatdiary
Interesting that Robert Lambert (broken finger) is now not riding for Lynn tonight which surely calls into question the guest facility that Newcastle had planned for him as that now surely should be RR. Clearly if LINDGREN is also missing a guest & RR will be applicable.

Tsunami
Just back from the track. Everything in place for tonights meeting with the track looking brilliant. No threat of rain now and it is very warm. Could be an interesting meeting and a lot will depend on which Auty, Carl and Toft turns up. Big Diamond
Tonight meeting should be much tougher than original staging with Scunthorpe stronger and Diamonds much weaker. Possibly okay top 5 depends on Ludvig fitness, my worry is reserves Danny struggling and Garcia never rode track well against Palm Toft who could easily have 7 rides and score big points. Least its dry had enough postponements don't need anymore.
Paul Johnson
hoping Mr Kerr has a good night, he should know the track well enough
