TheScotsman
Kennett will drop at least 2 points, unless King has already sent his best bikes to Cardiff!!

TheScotsman
Nothing lasts for ever. Â Cookie was nigh unbeatable in the second half of last season and he has dipped a fair bit this season.
Icicle
Good luck to the Witches tonight. Also good luck to the "BSF Posse" & hope they have a lot to make a joyful noise about\!
2ndbendbeerhut
I'm picking up some supplies en route..... Â Oh and town traffic is #'"*% at present. Colchester Rd bypass rammed... maybe with loads of fans on way to Foxhall?!
Reviresco
The Ipswich 2016 BSF Massif has just had a great shout out on BBC Radio Suffolk from Foz (Stephen Foster) after his pre recorded interview with CL. Â Hope you heard it guys, if not it will be available on Play Back or whatever it is called for a week or so. Â Hopefully Foz will be there tonight and if he is I have invited him to join us. Missed getting Ed down tonight as he has a gig outside the University tonight and I haven't got time to pick up Kevin Beattie, so it is just me and my younger son Dean tonight as eldest son is working. Dean is travelling separately. Â Anyone know if the A14 / A12 are ok as just heard a bad traffic report on BBC Radio Suffolk about stationery traffic (is that pens and pencils) over the Bridge and toward Felixstowe? Â Will leave in 10 minutes. See you by the pits Shads if you are there otherwise on the back straight. Brother from another mother, drive safely in your time machine. BSF Ipswich Massif, lets do this. Â Anyone for tennis? Wimbledon tribute arriving shortly or is that shorty Baldyman? Â Hey Mr tambourine man. Yo Yo s at the ready. Beer Hut get your Blue Balls ready for sticky bat games....? Bruv of Bruv wax up your megaphone and siren. Pob - you know what is required. Just look like the man.. West Ham fans, hope you brought your own bubbles. SB, no need for an air horn tonight. Maracas supplied. Â Safe journey and meeting to all. A14 now sounding ok but A12 bad around Martlesham. Fingers crossed. Love and Peace.
2ndbendbeerhut
Warning ..... As its warm I am wearing shorts Now on Colchester road and traffic queued from Henley road as far as I can see!
Super Blue
Snap on the shorts front and I can actually hear the music coming from the speakers!
Vincent Vega
Ipswich fans have the Rye massive made it tonight?
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Enjoyed that - two committed teams, some controversy (both ways) some thrills and spills and a chance to boo Eddie! (Only a bit of banter) Surprised he heard it -perhaps we were more raucous than we thought. Â The no zombie/no knitting signs did the trick -didnt see any of either this week. Â Great effort all round but a special mention to the 2 reserves needed IMO. Well done to Jojo and Danyon for getting stuck in. Both deserved more points. Â The British Final trophy is much heavier than I expected. Hopefully Danny can make some starts like tonight on Saturday. Good luck fella. Rayleigh
Glad we didn't lose by one point tonight after the decision of heat 3 (I was opposite the starting gate and the result was laughable). Â About the right result and actually pleased with a point with Kennett only getting 7 + 1 (including a 6) special mention for Branford with a gutsy 7 + 1. Â I don't like negative comments about other tracks but I just don't seem to enjoy the racing at Foxhall but it was good to meet Startline Sid. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Yes agree Cam did win heat 3 but then Eddie tucked up Jojo good and proper and got away with it so all square.
2ndbendbeerhut
Ref was shocking... Witches won Witches reserves even though didn't get the points showed determination. Special mention to Hume. On the pace and after 2 heats looked better than Ritchings or Greenwood....
Super Blue
Well , at least it was a win , just ! Â My opinion, we ought to be winning by more really. Â Summary for me , Â Some OK racing but nothing particularly spectacular. Some shockingly poor refereeing, for both teams! Danny King , never looked like being beaten. Eddie Kennett , seriously off his game tonight. Other no2 to no5 riders, hmm reasonable but nothing more. Reserves, outscored by opposition again, but both are newbies so no issues with that at all. Â And some noise and fun was had by the BSF massif , long may it continue! Edited July 7, 2016 by Super Blue
Baldyman
Well at least that puts paid to people asking when was Kennett last beaten by an ipswich rider. Think rye missed a trick not putting brandford in 14 instead of lanham. Some strange decisions from the ref. Good meeting but there still doesn't seem like use in trying to use the outside. Struggling to remember when covatti made an outside pass after so many last season. With Kennett scoring so few I was surprised we only won by 3. I wouldn't say the racing was that brilliant but I've seen worse.
Bandits4eva
I must be weird... Or hard to please (take your pick) as I found that tedious watching tonight... Only the score keeping it interesting... Hopefully it's a bit better next week although I'm seriously doubting it!
Baldyman
You are right. It was only the score keeping it interesting. I was just trying to look for some crumbs of positivity. It's my new thing to try and enjoy it more, but on the whole I think the racing has been pretty boring so far this season. Looking forward to seeing your Austrian next week. Shadders
I must be weird... Or hard to please (take your pick) as I found that tedious watching tonight... Only the score keeping it interesting... Hopefully it's a bit better next week although I'm seriously doubting it! You're both. Wasn't great, but it never is when you see your team lose. I said a point was the best we could get and they duly obliged. Branford looks in a different league to Karger, who I suspect wouldn't have scored a point. Didn't think King would be interested with the GP two days away, but fair play to him, although a fit and well Kennett may have made a difference. I thought he looked under power, but have since learned he's nursing an ear infection and has pulled out of the PL Pairs after aggregating a shoulder injury in that heat 13 fall. One of the worst refereeing decisions I've seen in recent years when Risager was given the win in heat 3 when Heeps clearly crossed the line half a wheel ahead (I was dead opposite the start/finish line with a clear view. Fully expected to see Branford in heat 14, would love to know why he wasn't considered. Why do they only open the stadium to the public 45 minutes before the start?
