Ipswich Witches V Rye House Rockets Pl 7-7-16 @7-30m

Recommended Posts

This will like a season opener... what with not riding at Foxhall for so long!

Predicting an away win then Beer Hut, as that was how the Witches season started against the Scorpions, lol?

If Eddie rides unbeaten, then it will be heading toward a draw for me, but I can see one of the three, let's face it, very strong, Witches heat leaders to clip his wings. If Eddie has a mare, then it should be a ten point home win.

A lot of people, will be looking at the Leigh / Cam combo to maybe decide the meeting result, but I think Robbo may be where the result is decided. A solid 10 /11 from him could sway it Rockets way.

Then there is the second strings and oh so important reserves. I really like the look of the Witches revised 6 & 7, exactly the type of riders that a PL Witches should be utilising and, a pairing that, say, I was to take control of the Club next season, I would be looking to start my career in the PL with. The friendly ghost will no doubt give it at least 100% as he always does. The youngsters in the Rockets reserves? Oh my, I am actually really looking forward to this one and I hope it is a cracking meeting on and off track.

See you later guys. Safe journey to everyone and a safe and entertaining little encounter please for all.

Anyone know what time gates open these days please?

Need to be there by 6pm to join the queue Macca if you want to be sure you get in in time to see the first race.

Should be a pretty close match I reckon.

But don't see Robson scoring 10/11 away from home.

When did he last?

So I vote for a home win.

Unless Rob #2015Legend scores double figures.

Rather annoyingly I went into my garage (sorry junk/garbage/the place where stuff goes to die storage area) looking for noise makers and try as I might I can't find my vuvuzela or old football rattle anywhere. I've failed miserably in my attempt to come to the party tonight!

Hopefully somebody will have something spare?

I might be going to Ipswich is there a particular spot Rye supporters stand it would be good to see a few friendly faces

Most stand on the first bend close to the bar. Dunno about friendly though 😉

I touch wood and say it should be a home win. However as I have stated before confidence is low and opposition teams will look for the kill. Peter scroehek has already mentioned kennetts unbeaten streak against us but I think the key for an away win could be Lanham and heeps. For us I feel a strong showing from Jacobs could see us home and dry.

I've drawn a blank too!!

i have 6 devices that can be used over and over again and 25 that provide a one off experience so everyone can join in!

I see Rob #2015Legend had a heavy fall at Lynn tonight and didn't take the heat 15.

Started with 3 wins so assume the fall was the reason.

will he be fit for tonight???

I may just sit somewhere else so I can do my knitting. You lot are a rowdy bunch and it's just not speedway

You seem more of a crochet or cross stitch man to me Baldy!

Mind you, you could do with knitting yourself a nice little wooly bobble hat for the colder months.
