Rob B
Its Nicolai Klindt LOL would have been better doing R/R with everyone able to take a ride!
damosuzuki
Crowd will be down due to historic Wales match tonight. Still expect plenty of comments along the lines of 'Speedway is finished in Britain... a disgrace', 'National Stadium? I told you it should have been Ipswich', 'Belle Vue bubble burst', 'Matt wouldn't let that happen', 'haven't been in years no wonder... during the war...' etc etc etc
Steve Shovlar
Will be a very small crowd no doubt about it. Perhaps the BV promotion should have just opened the gates and packed the place out. Might have picked up a lot of new fans in doing so. Speculate to accumulate.

Might have picked up a lot of new fans in doing so. Speculate to accumulate. Lakeside have already tried that one without success because very few, if any, returned to pay the full cost and Belle Vue have tried reduced admission in the days of Gordon Pairman and just lost money. Any rain forcast ? Sorry to disappoint but no. Doesn't really matter anyway with the excellent drainage.Lots of rain during the day of the last match and a downpour 20 minutes before the start but the track was fine. Your not dissapointing me, i just asked the question. Would be nice to see how the track rides give decent weather, not in the slop that was the British final

One of the more expensive admission and programme prices coupled with parking at £3 makes the prospect of watching the meeting on Sky far more preferable. The stadium without doubt has great facilities but Belle Vue Speedway is now most definitely a luxury when other options are available. Unfortunately the added attraction of Klindt guesting is unlikely to swell the number of Wolves fans Wolfie
stevebrum
Will watch this on the box when I get home tonight. I am expecting a large home win. RR surely the better option to Klindt?

Unfortunately the added attraction of Klindt guesting is unlikely to swell the number of Wolves fans Wolfie That is one of the most weirdly inaccurate posts I've ever seen and considered what we get on here it takes some doing. I'm guessing whoever went for Klindt instead of R/R has a similar understanding of all things speedway. Belle Vue need to ensure the outside run is working tonight as the white line specialist in the wolves camp will run us close otherwise. I think for a sky match they should close the back straight and make it £15 to be in the main stand. Maybe even blank off the end section in the stand. If you really must stand then you go near the pits. Clubs have shown that pushing fans into one section of the stadium makes it look better on TV and can create atmosphere. The 1000-1500 that will be there tonight will look sparse on screen when in reality it's 100% up on what we would have got at the dog bowl.
R87
Should be close. Wolves strengthened by the inclusion of Lambert and Masters should score more than r/r on their last visit but nobody missing for the Aces so should get 3 points. Be good to see PK, one of my all time favourites. Don't see PK doing much on this track. He'll be stopping for oxygen round there.
magnificentseven
£17, is there a cheaper el option? How much does it cost to stand up at wolves? What is the point of posting that, badly informed posts like yours don't do British speedway any good whatsoever does it? According to the Belle Vue website just over 1100 seats available in the grandstand means around 700 seats already taken and with wolves being top there'll be loads making the trip no doubt, especially as a former wolves stalwart and favourite is now guesting, plus other walk ups and even if some st holders don't turn up it will still be better than the corresponding crowd at the dog track. I doubt the crowd will be as big as Glasgow which was probably the biggest TV gate of the season, I expect something similar to Monday when there was nothing else to do and it was apparently almost half price to get in. Add in perfect weather and anyone who gives this a miss to watch football needs their head feeling. At the end of the day the crowd will still be bigger than we used to get at the dog track, even last Fridays crowd was bigger, so the new luxury stadium is ticking all the right boxes. Ha ha, just checked and its more expensive at wolves. Add in the parking charge of £3 - free at Wolves and Belle Vue is more expensive. One of the cheapest actually at £17, £1 cheaper then Wolves, kids are free too up to 12 which they aren't at Wolves and plenty of free car parking about. The free car parking on the street is not secure and the risk of having the car broken into is very high - happened to me once and one of my colleagues too. Not worth the risk. At Wolfie's time of life he may be wanting to sit down (sorry mate!) and according to the club website that's £20 (or £23 for premium). It comes to us all in the end Fourentee - no probs Add in the parking charge of £3 - free at Wolves and Belle Vue is more expensive. Also you don't have to pay a premium price to watch the racing from the home straight at Wolves. Programme at Belle Vue £3 Wolves programme £2.50 - again cheaper. Ill Informed? I think not Wolfie The free car parking on the street is not secure and the risk of having the car broken into is very high - happened to me once and one of my colleagues too. Not worth the risk. ouch
Every time I go to Wolves I buy a badge and a speedway star so it works out a lot more expensive than Belle Vue. Not compulsory I know but it all adds to it and makes a visit to wolves just out of my price bracket I'm afraid.
