tyretrax
Of the last two Sky meetings I know which I preferred and it wasn't tonight. The E.L. snobs can't think there was passing in that, I said that you don't always need passing to be a good meeting if the racing is close with team riding but that had neither until the last race.
damosuzuki
To be fair, the usual suspects are whining because their team isn't riding - they'd rather the motocross from Wimbourne road was on every second week. The last week has been terrible weather.

Fair play to the Shouty Boys I reckon the pair of em deserve a bonus for bigging up our sport .. This is hardly going to bring the fans flooding back is it ? Gavan
Still 100 times better than last Monday. And all riders staying still at the start. It's called being professional I guess. Did I say that Coventry are pants? not sure if I've mentioned it before. not 100 x better. better yes but far worse than the Glasgow meeting as I said good and bad in both leagues and tonight was dross. I recorded it on sky plus and pretty much fast forwarded after the first lap Three bad meetings on the bounce now after a good start to the speedway on sky. Not Swindons fault Coventry are so bad. One thing to come out of the meeting so far is that Rosco can see first hand Josh Bates should not get the reserve berth for TeamGB. Clearly now it must go to Adam Ellis, who is a better overall rider and showing good form. Young Bates time may come but certainly he doesnt warrant the reserve pick for this year. Josh Bates coming back from injury on a track that had 1 line the inside line and was a gaters paradise. Check the facts at international level and Bates is miles clear but hey you got those stupid blue tints on and only Poole fans have Ellis ahead of Bates Then reserve only rides in the case of an injury. Not a tactical position. Bates is rubbish again. Not seen Ellis do that all season. A no brainer for Rosco. No never seen Ellis ride poorly!! How did Ellis do in the British Under 21 final and the World Under 21 final please. Talking crap Steve international meetings Bates has the upper hand the results dont lie. Poole bias im afraid. Some of them don't understand the sport Of the last two Sky meetings I know which I preferred and it wasn't tonight. The E.L. snobs can't think there was passing in that, I said that you don't always need passing to be a good meeting if the racing is close with team riding but that had neither until the last race. Correct. Elite league snobs who don't understand what makes a good meeting Doyle and Sedgeman when behind couldn't do anything To be fair, the usual suspects are whining because their team isn't riding - they'd rather the motocross from Wimbourne road was on every second week. The last week has been terrible weather. Same old crap from the same Poole fans im afraid
RobMcCaffery
Our team manager is a dick and should go back to selling the Big issue. Was that before or after he won the World Championship? Don't worry, you'll soon have no team to support and have nothing left to whinge about.

RobMcCaffery
Sooner the better You do realise he'll be walking because the track is closing forever. No more Coventry Bees. You don't get a a second 'life' and restart the game. Your team is almost certainly about to die unless someone comes up with a miracle (and I pray they do). . I get the impression you'll be glad to see it happen.
Starman2006
Well somebody woke me up before heat 15. And had there been 14 heats like ht 15 then it would have been a decent meeting... Jonny the spud
No never seen Ellis ride poorly!! How did Ellis do in the British Under 21 final and the World Under 21 final please. in the British final he came 3rd, Bates was on his home track, in the world U21 he was riding 18 days after breaking his collarbone, he did pretty well to hang on at all ! but you knew that anyway…

New Science
What's with the fans on the back straight , they all Coventry or something don't seem any reaction to Swindon race wins Speedway fans the World over I'm afraid. Maybe try watching it with the telly turned on then. I'd say it is comparable to Wednesdays match (some close racing racing but track conditions not perfect due to weather conditions). I'd say the Berwick match was the worst SKY have ever filmed. And I thought the last time Berwick was on the box was excellent a couple of seasons ago. A totally dull and unprofessional meeting with rider movement making it an embarrassment to watch. Swindon look excellent. Coventry can't be bothered so making it a lacking match as it's gone on. A true race to the bottom
Jacques
Rosco said about the playoffs.. " It's only half way through the season" It might be only half way for you, but ours is nearly over, if not over! Embarrassing! Well done Swindon. I know your adams dad but my point still stands that Bates deserves it this year and yes adam has had a good season. Neither of them will score a point so give it to the rider who internationally has been better. Oh and Bates was coming back from injury tonight on a poor track
hyabb17
Poor tracks are normally ones which cause accidents, I wouldn't say tonight's track was poor. Here's the PL snobs again. You will find reading this thread, the EL fans will say it wasn't a great meeting. Unlike you who thinks every average PL meeting is brilliant. The racing was no better last Wednesday than tonight, in fact it was arguably worse. However, last Wednesday had a cracking atmosphere so it papered that over. The meeting on Monday last week was absolutely awful.. there have also been awful meetings shown in the EL too.
Steve Shovlar
No never seen Ellis ride poorly!! Master Ellis has been touched by the Poole rubbishty stick and thats it as far as Gavan is concerned. Nothing against young master Bates (sorry couldn't resist that one) but Adam is a better all round rider. Bates is known as a gater and it was a gaters paradise tonight. Gated in his first but was awol after that. When you consider Adam beat Andreas Johnson on his home patch on Friday it shows the difference. Anyway back to the meeting thread and Coventry are still crap an hour after the meeting ended. yes I knew that but I was replying to the usual Poole troll that invades the forum. So there you have it. You admit you were trolling by telling an untruth. Your hatred continues. Long may we continue to laugh at you and not with you. Is your arse jealous at the amount of crap that comes out of your mouth?
