Blackadder
14.2 The CLERK of the COURSE (who must have no financial involvement with the Promotion) is responsible solely to the Referee for the overall preparation, administration and conduct of the Meeting in accordance with the Speedway Regulations and official programme. S/he has a duty to ensure all staff are suitable, properly trained and in place to ensure the smooth, safe running of the Meeting and accepts instructions only from the Meeting Referee. Naturally, the Clerk of the Course will take on board any comments from the Referee, Promotion, Team Managers, Team Captains, Track Curator and Announcer when deciding on the length of any interval. Notenoughnerve
Doubt it, I reckon our friend is that desperate to show how poor the crowd was at Belle Vue on Friday he probably got his magnifying glass out to count each person individually in the photo he took. Having said that he may have took his picture when a couple of hundred fans had gone for a slash or a foot long hot dog, who knows, lol! I'm desperate for Belle Vue to have at least 2000 on every week. I was a bit surprised by the dismal turn-out against KL.

It was not surprising at all, Kings Lynn had a dreadful team, the weather had been poor all day with more showers forecast for evening and football was on the TV.

Fair enough. I never thought for a minute it would be off. Three of us travelled with confidence from Yarksher, trusting how well the new track drains. And it was only Wales on the box!
