Ive never seen a side dog it in like brum did tonight.

The reserves bar falls did well , hume and bacon fine.

Perry despite the score ritchings and halsey were shocking

Once tom got hurt i thought that was it, hopwood like me needs to shift some pudding, harris rode 28 laps beat nobody and got 6 points.

Easties top 3 were just miles better than a zachless brum

I don't know what Brum have done to Hume though he was pretty brilliant tonight! Your point on Harris though he did only beat hopwood but got 6 points if you can not beat anyone and get that, that's fine by me.

That was a good meeting and the result could have gone either way. Brum will feel unlucky due to two falls while in good positions and a pretty poor guest that you would expect better from. Ditto for Eastbourne, so that evened out.

Real shame to lose Tom like that. Connor and Martin had put NO presure whatsoever on him and told him just to enjoy himself.

Gotta say, Brum and Kent look the ones to beat. \looking really good.

Actually, Eastbourne did not pile a ton of pressure on Tom Brennan. They said in public "there's no pressure" on Tom.

Why you wish to make something up, god only knows.

Because people love to make what they believe are clever comments. Most the time they no very little about the people they are talking about.

Regardless of pressure put on Tom, I'm sure he felt nervous and put some pressure on himself. But that's hardly the reason for his injury, it's just because he's enthusiastic, so I think it's unfair to criticise the Dugards.

Better than I thought, expected to lose by at least 10 so very happy with a point. I know we could have won but I would have bitten anyone's hand before the meeting for a point, it's the toughest track in the league to get anything from. We are still sitting pretty at the top of the league so happy days, just a shame we have playoffs.

Someone mentioned Danyon Hume and what have we done to him. Well Hume has been revelation this year, 12 months a go he was a poor 3 pointer. Now he's a heat leader and it's all town to the poultec training he did in the winter, he's really come on leaps and bounds.

Just want to wish Tom Brennan a speedy recovery, rotten luck to get injured like that in his first meeting.

Always "if's and but's" in speedway and this match had more than any I can remember. I said in a previous post the variables in speedway make it so exciting as this match proved last night. Apart from Tom's injury would far sooner have a match like this whatever the circumstances with guests etc than a 60/30 thrashing.

On Twitter he's described as the "15 year old sensation", poor kid. As I said, well done Dugard, well played !

Well what a stupid remark you have made, sit back and see if it makes sense, why would Tom Brennan want to sit out a meeting when he was able to ride, His Birthday, age was ok, top of the youth Championships, 5 times British Speedway and Grass track champion (so it says on the web) so why sit back and watch others ride when you can?

Darcy Ward would not have sat back? yes it was a hard meeting but life can be hard you cant always go for an easy option, Charlie powell was not able to take his place because of an injury at Cradley so why has it go to be anything do with the Dugards?

you will never stop a good Kid from racing or gettting injured, (Darcy Ward) best rider in the world, the problem i think is that its easy to try and blame someone for a crash, in this case it was a miss judgement by Tom and he paid for it but a 100% a pure accident the same as Andrews and Powell and Perks and Stokes when perks hit Stokes bike.

But to blame a management because they entered a young lad in the team and he falls off just shows everyone how silly your comments are and infact anything you say is not worth reading, If Niall strudwick was in the same place and Tom he would have taken it with both hands to have a ride but if he had crashed would that have been the clubs fault.???? Dummkopk... How very Adult of you, and what the hell has Darcy got to do with Eastbourne's bad management decisions? This was a high pressure match against the reigning ( and up till then undefeated) champions. Hardly the kind of meeting to put in a kid who was untried at this level, especially one so young. The events themselves proved that.

Ok smart arse when do you start the kids racing speedway? do you wait till an easy match or wait until the sun is out?

If someone is old enough and good enough he or she should be allowed to show the talant that they have, not to hold them back till you the supporter decides whats best for the kid, maybe thats where we have been going wrong? we are miles behind the rest of the world in the racing maybe its because we hold our English kids back but then again with your comments i can see that if you had a team of youngsters 15 to 21 like 98% of Birminghams team they be 21 plus before you let them ride.

JPB is 15, smith 17, Luke Harris 17 so all very young riders and means they all started at 15. so best give up the arrgument that its anyones fault?

just an accident which evreyone who was there watch.

Not management, not track, not supporters, an accident.
