Berwick V Plymouth (2nd July) Pl

Recommended Posts

Todd Kurtz has joined his little brother as a no-show. Plymouth will use Ben Barker as another guest. Hmmmmm.

He withdrew from his last two rides last night, suffering with his should, which I believe he injured in a fall in Heat 14 of their home match against Ipswich last week

Checking ahead with our preferred forecasting website, we see that Friday in West Lothian is currently suggesting sunshine and showers early, clearing into a dry evening and a temperature of 14C by race-time.

On Saturday, Tweedmouth is currently set for a warm, sunny day, all day! Top temperature to be 17C. Well, it is July! Taken from club email letter

Rumours of a digestion problem, where he couldn't stomach riding at Berwick, are just that, rumours.....probably.

Giving the unsettled forecast the track is being covered to help get the racing on, why cant every club be as forward thinking and progressive as Berwick.

Need to find the volunteers , that's the problem , plenty moan about why covers weren't used , but not many are prepared to help put them down or remove them

Very forward thinking no one to put them down lol

Knock it all you want, Berwick once again are leading the way to try to get meetings on and deserve huge credit for doing so, maybe if other clubs did something similar we`d be in a better position, might be an idea for you to question your promotion why they aren`t doing the same. Covers went down, we have had a couple of light showers but so far the heavier showers has missed Berwick, all being well we should have tapes up at 7pm.

Im sure cresent girl, smod, positive thinker, lulu the tiger, freddie five toes lady antlebum, ned kelly and dick will all be there to put them covers down... Well done folks. :)

Just back from playing football on the pitch behind Shielfield and there was a group putting the covers down. Didn't ask their names but it could have been those named above. Anyway, it's currently chucking it down, so the covers were a great and idea and top marks to those volunteers who helped them. Hopefully it will pay dividends later on and the meeting goes ahead.
