Don't get to speedway too often nowadays for various reasons but I thoroughly enjoyed that, was the first time for several visits that I felt I've got full VFM for my £17.. The track was perfect leading to passing in the vast majority of races and because of the black clouds the meeting was pushed through at a proper pace and all over in ninety minutes. Deserved win for Lynn with Rose fantastic. Batchelor was excellent too and stated on Radio Norfolk the next morning that he had come back from his injury too early and until Thursday night had struggled to do four laps, hopefully we will see the best of him from now on. Thought Busk Jakobsen looked promising and once he gets used to the track could be very useful.

I was thinking of the first bend infringement. Someone told me they are allowed to go to the start line near the tapes, there is a line they must cross to be OK ....

 

a rider was excluded at Peterborough the other week for going the wrong way up to the tapes then on the grass briefly then off to the start line, and no replacement allowed, think it was Sam Simota.

 

Zagar came across the concrete last week after a race had been stopped, but I wondered if he should be out as they had been under starters orders

Thought Busk Jakobsen looked promising and once he gets used to the track could be very useful.

 

Had a good chat with Nicolai about KL, he loved it and is really hoping for plenty more opportunities - I thought he did well for his first meeting at the track, and was certainly pushing to overtake in his races

Was so pleased to see Troy have a good night as the fans were beginning to question him, good that he spoke to the media about it too instead of doing a Bjerre on it.
