whippy
Easy to say so come on name some options. Exactly, I didn't always agree with what JC did, as I told him quite often and to his credit he always answered my criticisms, I might not always have liked or agreed with what he said but he took the time to explain. I've never cared whether Lynn won or lost, tho I prefer to win of course. I simply want to see a team I can relate to, do their very best on and off track and make the supporters feel they are part of it. That starts with the promotion and team manager. If they cannot or will not get the riders to acknowledge the fans why the heck should the fans bother. You only have to look at Danny Ayres last night at Glasgow. I don't suppose he or his most fervent fans think he is the worlds best rider but his race win last night meant the world to him and he quite rightly made that very clear to the fans and boy did they respond. Unless he is an Oscar winning actor of course When was the last time any rider a rider a Lynn even came close to that. I feel totally divorced from the club I've loved for so long and sadly cannot see that changing . IMHO the EL as it is, is well past its sell by date. ,hopefully, look away Haza, we will go back PL and I might just might get a teeny bit of enthusiasm back but the promotion will have to put a bit more effort into it first. I agree it would be good if riders acknowledged the supporters after races. There is something missing this season, atmosphere just seems very flat. em1500uk
Speedway at Lynn has never been all about winning or losing for me. Blimey Over the years I have seen some pretty average teams in representing Lynn. Never has it felt as flat as this season. I can trace it back to when Young JC parted company with Buster. He had a fresh innovative approach to the modern World of Speedway. Ok, it was never going to capture the feeling of the 70's with 4/5,000 people in the place, but it was a feel good factor about the place even with 1500/2000 in the Stadium. Then when Mike Bennett departed it took another dip and has gone down and down for me. Now I don't really care if I go or not, back in the day I would have done everything in my power to have been there. It is interesting that people like Star Lady, Baggy, ( where has he disappeared to?) GRW, Myself a good few others seem to all appear to have the same feeling after years of solid support. Bagpuss is still around but doesn't attend as regularly. He went to a NL meeting v Birmingham a few weeks back and recently attended the World U21s Round 1 at Lynn like me and stayed till the very end. Boy that was a long night

Coventry_Bee
Should be a good meeting, with Fricke moving up to number 4 it does give the Aces a really strong look. Heat 8 could be fun if I see it properly with Lambert and Lambert against Worrall and Worrall

If you dangle a big enough carrot, I sure you'll find somebody....... I too have never bothered whether we won or not, I just wanted to be entertained and have this connection with the club. Recently I have wondered what the hell am I doing here. The place is dead, no atmosphere, or desire..... We have plenty of Promotors; we have loads of Team Managers, but we don't have a Motivator...... nor someone who can connect the club with the fans....

Steve Shovlar
Sounds like there was a very loud bang over Saddlebow Road this evening as the Belle Vue bubble burst. They should have won this but only a couple if their riders turned up. At leadt someone gave Batch a nudge or read him the riot act and he pulled his finger out his jacksie. Very easy for Lynn by the look of it.
waiheke1
Don't know about belle Vue bubble bursting. Batch in form makes a huge difference as it means the kl top 4 us as strong as anyone's, albeit with a weak bottom 3. Worralls both scored well, and zagar and Jacobs as you would expect. Frick scored a couple less than you'd hope. Cook and Nicholls scores look disappointing, but in this format, away from home 6 is a decent score away. Looking at their heats you'd maybe really have expected an extra 3 between them. A draw would have been a solid result. As it is aces still on track for a top two spot. Kl fans - happy to keep batch now?
mrss
Good result for the Stars tonight. Apart from Mads everyone rode well especially Lewis Rose . Some good racing on a good track.

Daniel Smith
Not many complaints from me at all. A lot of fight from the lads when they missed the gates with some good quality passing. Nice little atmosphere as well up in the seats which was good to hear. Score could easily been the other way around but thankfully R.Lambert & Rose showed passing is possible. Track was in the best condition I've seen it for some time to. Down sides: Mads Korneliussen Busk Jakobsen (had the speed and great style to watch but couldn't gate) but it was his 1st meeting so will be let off Attendance, one of the smallest I can remember for some time which must/should be a concern to the promotion

Both can't be right? When you say a decent crowd, what sort of numbers you plumping for? Less than 1,000, 1,000 to 1,300, 1,300 to 1,500, 1,500 to 2,000, 2,000+ ?? Cheers Karl Do you think Mads is carrying to much weight? He reminded me a bit like Joe Screen in his last season or two? Trees
Fun night and a great result from the Stars, well happy for the team particularly those who had iffy form last week, just need to get a couple more racing to their capabilites and watch em go. Our team manager instilled some determination into them and it sure worked against the strong Aces
kelvinht
Looked a standard EL crowd to me 1000+ Mads is not a heat leader these days and this format takes no prisoners
lynnboy
Mads must be looking over his shoulder after Rory is now back practicing, would rather have Rory back in the team than Mads.
