Well done Wales they make themselves look stupid but it's fun to watch. And one of them was singing bless him! Poor losers are also poor winners and yet again that's the case. Funnily enough it's always the same 2 or 3 Poole fans who embarrass themselves. Most of the Poole fans are decent folk. You can spot the sensible ones. Both teams looked crap on paper. 1 gp rider and a bunch of PL boys. As I said. Glad Poole won. Often think that Cook is more of a menace than Ford. We don't tend to travel well at Lakeside, so even with a full team I would expect a 10 point loss but when Kennett pulled out think it would have been a lot closer. The result was a huge shock. No way Pirates should have got anything out of tha. Lakesides track offers a huge home advantage but somehow the deterination the team showed suprised everyone, myself included. A joyful moment and one to celebrate this evening. Upthepirates!! Don't usually come onto the forum this late in the evening, but couldn't resist just to see which posters were saying 'it wasn't really a Poole win because of the team they put out'!! I wasn't surprised having read all the posts!! I refer to my opening post #4 above - no issues for me at the meeting going ahead - its the home promotion's prerogative whatever the rights and wrongs.
