siriustom
utter joke really, if this goes ahead it will embarrass the sport completely! can they not just re-arrange the meeting for the another date?!
Gavan
Tough luck basically.
SteveLyric2
No issues for me - its Lakeside's choice to go ahead with it. Chris Holder, Adam Ellis plus 5 others flying the Pirates flag. Maybe the likes of Jack Holder, Kyle Howarth, Stuart Robson, Peter Karlsson and Paul Starke (again) might be available?! SteveLyric2
No. No rain-off please - Poole already have 3 away meetings to be re-arranged, we don't need another one - unless those clubs are penalised for not offering suitable dates and Poole are gifted the points??!!! :-) :-) ;-) Edited June 25, 2016 by Skidder1

cityrebel
You can't blame lakeside for not wanting to cancel, their last home meeting was on June 1st!

Fixtures are a complete joke in all leagues. The past month especially, no need or excuse for it 😠.
CB252
Amazing that Poole lambasted Coventry for not cancelling (and rearranging for a suicidal off night) earlier in the season when Holder was 'unavailable', and a perfectly adequate facility was in place, but they have no gripe with Lakeside keeping this fixture in place when five of their team will be missing? E I Addio
Hope it doesn't hit the gate too hard. Poole are usually one of the clubs that pull in a pretty decent crowd.

A ORLOV
that's an insult to the chimp! Well they tried the bspa chairman but he could not read the names on the balls or dates on the calendar. And the chimp came first in the IQ test. Gavan
Yeah..and you would be the first to slag off our team if it was deliberate or if it gets rained off. Tw@t This EL is crap and good riddance to it if any changes are in next season. We need a squad system that's it. I say turn up with just the 2 riders and see who complains then.! "What no riders.?.....why can't you fill your team with PL riders??...moan moan moan. " well this has been known about for ages". Tough titty to all then isn't it. Can't have your cake and eat it. Personally I couldn't care less about a massive defeat at Lakeside. Let them have it awarded for all I care. Thomas the tank track. Squad system wouldnt work and the elite league would just die...............oh hang on it would work for Poole Poole have pulled enough strokes over the years to finally have a team stand up to them is great. Didnt Poole refuse to race somewhere once? Didnt Lakeside once move a date? Seem to remember Poole faking injuries and illnesses a couple of seasons ago so that their polish duo didnt have to ride at Eastbourne and then fielded a team of track experts namely Richie Worrall so that they won the meeting. That was ok for them back then but not now?? Stop moaning ride the meeting and well done Lakeside for refusing to move the date. Lakeside are in with a chance of the top 4 so why allow one of their rivals a chance. And you have the audacity to moan about Lakesides track???
