Baldyman
Hall? Brandford? With paco now Pilling in the zeros we only need someone that could score a few, it's not that they need to set the world on fire is it. Even if it's another 3 point rider, ya never know they may score more than zero. Would Jacobs fit bruv? TheScotsman
Rob branford would be a fantastic signing even if it did mean replacing the outstanding paco.
Baldyman
Not really sure what's happened to paco. He started pretty poorly but then hit a purple patch of 3 or 4 meetings which looked like he would actually do okay, but unfortunately it all seems to have gone in a complete reverse. Shame really as most of the fans seem to like him.

ZODIAK
I think it was Bash that had worked out that its 4.06 that we have available.  Still very few options at that level.  Branford is the only obvious one. Jacobs perhaps?? Got to be honest the rules and regs go over my head, but the latest Green Sheets were released a couple of days ago and are effective "immediately". Our team total now sits on 42.46 so just over the limit, so wouldn't a change mean a replacement for Paco could only be up to Paco's current average which is 3.13?  http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/pl16_issue_20.pdf Edited June 25, 2016 by Hong Kong Phooey
Baldyman
From 1st July our combined team average will be 41.44. So that's 1.06 to play with on top of 3.01. So we have 4.07 to play with after after July 1st

Shadders
Rob branford would be a fantastic signing even if it did mean replacing the outstanding paco. Don't be surprised if he replaces Peter Karger at Rye when he's completed his fourth away meeting at Redcar on Thursday.

junior fan
Rob branford would be a fantastic signing even if it did mean replacing the outstanding paco. Hopefully he gets rewarded for some loyalty elsewhere. Â Junior
Halifaxtiger
cracking result and good to see Ben coming good. still the reserves are a huge worry  Barker rode extremely well on a track that was difficult (the fire engine that is used for watering broke down before the start) but produced some good racing later on.  It turned on heat 14 when, according a to a couple of reports, Risager took Kurtz leg as he was going past. Kurtz was excluded, Nielsen made a mess of the re-run and Ipswich were home and dry with Barker & King in heat 15.
Siggytastic
I think Paco has to be replaced as He should be scoring better especially on the larger tracks like Berwick and if Jacobs fit then make the change as He cannot do any worse. Baldyman
The best I've seen of him is at Rye house twice, which you wouldn't expect, I would also think he would prefer the big tracks. Would ipswich really make 3 changes in one season? Let's hope so.
Super Blue
I know the no7 has to be a National league 3pt Brit but at 3.01 Paco nearly qualifies and that is not what's required from a no6 in your team! Â I know he's a team asset (in the loosest sense of the word) but really needs to be replaced if we have any aspirations of making the top half of the table. Â Sorry Paco but as much as you're a likable lad I think you've had enough time to be improving and you're going the wrong way I'm afraid. Â Our reserves need to be scoring a minimum of 7 or 8 at home and 5 or 6 away or as a team we're stuffed, simple as that really. BobC
Â Barker rode extremely well on a track that was difficult (the fire engine that is used for watering broke down before the start) but produced some good racing later on. Kurtz was excluded, Nielsen made a mess of the re-run and Ipswich were home and dry with Barker & King in heat 15. Slight correction to your comment. Â The fire engine broke down the week before, not on Friday. Â Totally agree regarding the Risager/Kurtz comment though. In the Edinburgh meeting, Riss got excluded for much much less contact, if any. This week Risager was going so fast into turn 3, neither he nor Kurtz could turn quickly enough. Todd couldnt even get his leg out to help with steering and had no option other than to bale out. Nothing intentional from Risager at all, BUT, had this happened on turn 1, I have no doubts he would have been excluded. Â The rerun would have been totally different as Im sure the Devils would have got the required 5-1 to win the meeting. Â Pretty mundane for much of the time, but it did liven up a bit towards the end.

Slight correction to your comment the fire engine had been repaired but developed a new fault the night before the meeting which was the brakes were jamming on and it could not be risked on the track during the meeting and being unable to move it. I was told this by one of the promoters.
