Cradley V Eastbourne 21 June 2016

Recommended Posts

This should be a cracker.

The good news is that Richard Andrews will be filling the yawning gap left by Jack kingston's departure. The not so good news is that James Purchase is missing due to a shoulder injury. Bradley will do his best but Big Jim has been scoring well at home and his absence could be difficult to overcome.

With Adam Ellis around Eastbourne have someone capable of beating our top three which has the potential to expose our tail end. That said I'm hoping that Layne Cupitt can put a few points in the bag. He was really entertaining on his debut but lost a few points from overdoing it. Now the debut is out of the way I think he could be very useful at reserve.

Tough one to call but I can see the Heathens losing this one by four points.

Hope I'm wrong!

Get yourself down there. There's nothing on the telly worth watching on Monday!

Whoops - got the date wrong in the header. It is 27th of course.

What about the football lol

think that's what he's saying... The football isn't worth watching. I heard a rumour they are already warming the plane engines up and filling the drinks trolley

Hmmm....................

Just seen the Eastbourne demolition of Kings Lynn. Ellis, Wood, Perks and Knight dropped one point between them from 19 rides.

Guess you could say that's impressive form ahead of tomorrow.

Hang on. What's that knocking noise I can hear?..............................................................Oh dear, it's my knees!

It could be a good one.

was there a sniper in the crowd last night ? talk about coming back to earth with a bump, or three.

Any Idea on how bad the injuries were? I worry Adam Ellis might have damaged his injured shoulder. Knight andPowell as well could mean Saturdays visit from Birmingham has already turned into a disaster.

powell has broken collarbone.

Ellis continued in the meeting which might signal that he's not too worse off. We will find out if he rides for Poole later this week. Knight has an ankle injury but he tweeted saying he'd be back Saturday. Not sure if he will be though. Powell out for a while meaning a possible extended run for Brennan or bringing in the likes of a spiller

Well I was right that there was nothing on the telly worth watching but I certainly got the score wrong with the Heathens running out comfortable winners.

Eastbourne had a lot of bad luck and the final outcome would have been closer if Knight and Powell had not picked up injuries.

A big 'well done' to Bradley Andrews last night. He really looked the part. Richard Andrews made a very encouraging debut after a long lay off and looks just what we've been missing in the middle order. The rest all rode well to seal the win.

Maybe things will start picking up from here and we will have R/R for Big Jim for a while which will get an extra ride in for Richard.

Hope the Eagles lads make full and swift recoveries.

Shame the England footy team didn't perform with similar commitment and enthusiasm!
