Poole Pirates Vs Kings Lynn Stars 29/6/16

Recommended Posts

Meeting finally called off at 11.30 am. Occasionally Poole harbour area does have its own micro-climate but today has been exactly as forecast - been raining consistently and more heavy rain still forecast for later today.

It'll be a challenge for both clubs to agree a rearrangement date with full teams!!!!

.....and the winners of the race to get the former Grand Prix winner to reserve are.......

No wonder they took a month off

Sad arn't you mate. There is no way Matt wanted best part of a month with no meetings. Not just the riders that lose out, so does Matt, but you should know that...

In the meantime its chucking it down in poole, the track cannot take it and the weather is poor all afternoon.

Now that rather large hole has been filled in with rain, could Fraudy not open it up to the general public as a swimming pool?

Be good for the community and enable him to receive some additional income....

Lets hope that by not putting on any home meetings in June doesnt come back to bite Poole on the backside trying to fit fixtures in at the end of the season. Would be a crying shame if they missed out

Again, your being very economical with your words arn't you..... Do worry we'l be fine. You just consentrate on you little lot.

I thought Poole thrived in riding in the wet. Surprised Middlie has allowed this one to be called off.

You seen the state of the track. Its more fit for jetskis.

Should check your 'facts' again then!! Poole beat Swindon at home on June 1st.

Incidentally, its not only Poole that have had a big break in fixtures - although admittedly one of the longest breaks. Whoever does the BSPA fixture schedule is responsible for the gaps - many of which were done to avoid clashes with other sport on TV. As I've said before there will always be greater issues with fixture clashes especially in the 'even' years when there are other major international sporting tournaments taking place.
