Newcastle V Scunthorpe Pl Ko Cup 2nd Leg Sunday 26 June 2016 At 5pm

Recommended Posts

Has anyone won the lottery and willing to build us our own stadium that we can have 24/7 access to, so we can cover track and clear any build up of water on the track.

Ps this is wishful thinking on my behalf by the way lol

Easier said than done (yes. I know your tongue was placed firmly in your cheek!). Not just the winning the lottery bit, but finding somewhere and getting permission to build a 'stadium' would be the hard part.

If England win tomorrow night they play their next fixture at 8:00 next Sunday.. Might affect crowd, though they might bring start time forward as Plymouth already at Berwick on the Saturday night

Big if but it would not make sense to take on an England match - plus get the meeting done before the 6pm deluge...

can't see them getting carried forward til next month, far too technical ;)

As long as the parking money goes to the Speedway promotion and not William Hill.

The new stadium needs to have a retractable roof as well I think...

I see we weren't the only people to turn up at BP this afternoon. It was hot and sunny - I should have checked the website.

From a personal perspective I can't get to Monday meetings so it's now 5 weeks since we've been to a meeting. With the GP, anda holiday, in July I can't see things improving much.

People may find other things to do on a Sunday evening...

Currently peeing down in Gosforth. Looks like the forecast was spot on.

I don't think they called this off lightly. It causes a massive 'headache' trying to fit the fixtures in. As I said in an earlier post, I make it 5 to be re-arranged (Scunthorpe x2, Ipswich, Workington and Somerset).

The next blank Sunday is the day after Cardiff. Sunday 17th July is 'Reserved KOC - QF' so hopefully someone can come on that date. The weekend after is the Fours. There are no blank Sunday's after that until September.

Answers on a postcard, please...

Scunny already have a scheduled home meeting the day after the Cardiff GP

Newcastle don't like to run the day after Cardiff, I was just mentioning the blank Sunday's as Terrace Grumbler can't get to Monday meetings.

Easier to chuck out Bill Hill and his dog s**t sport than to find such an area around here.
