dontforgetthefueltapsbruv Posted June 25, 2016 Report Share Posted June 25, 2016 I dont know of anyone that travels as much to follow the Witches as Baldyman so his frustrations come from first hand experience. I dont doubt that it is actually his passion for the sport and the club that drives his comments because he wants the best for both. I dont always totally agree with his thoughts but I know they will come from a genuine position and not just taking the chance to have a dig. Baldy is generally quite chilled, laid back and humerous (certainly not the miserable old git that he is currently tagged as - wink) and In sure he would prefer to be posting more positively. Firstly as has been pointed out, he spends a shed load of his hard earned travelling up and down the country SUPPORTING the Witches so he's more than entitled to post his views positive or negative. Secondly, there's hardly been anything to post positively about the Witches this season has there? Lets be honest there would have to be something wrong with you to spend loads of money on something you don't like wouldn't there?. I actually came away from the heath this season furious, the last time that happened was when Mark lorams accident happened, so yes I can understand how everyone is feeling and the posts on here. I cant help feeling that if some how we can start getting points from the reserve position the team will lift and we might scrape the playoffs. Don't you go changing. Baldyman Posted June 25, 2016 Report Share Posted June 25, 2016 You are right, I also think we could still make a play off place if somehow we could get our reserves to score 6 7 or 8 between them every meeting or a another new reserve that could help towards that. cuckootoyou Posted June 25, 2016 Report Share Posted June 25, 2016 The home form of James is pretty steady and he seems in my opinion to be comfortable enough to attack the track. Away from home not so good, seems to eat dirt a fair bit, perhaps he is trying to hard. Saying that both Danny and Nico have been dirt diving more than last season. You cant score points face down in the dirt. Morton is doing his job but you guys might find it strange for me to say this but to me he doesn't seem to be as quick this season. Not concerned about him though. So back to the reserves what can be done? even if someone can be found that fits do they want to ride for the witches because believe it or not not everybody does.
