U21 Final Round Gdansk - 2 October

Recommended Posts

Good to see Nike Lunna get the chance to replace Joel Andersson, as I feared One Sport would find a way to circumnavigate the official reserve rider list and include another Pole as Andersson's replacement.

Unfortunately Nike Lunna has with drawn from this meeting following his crash at Redcar last Thursday.

Anyone know for trains from Torun to Gdansk, is it best to buy tickets in advance?

Trains run regularly, but an even faster service is offered by Polski Bus Their coaches are very modern, run every few hours and if memory serves me correctly, the journey time is about an hour less. Have a look at their web site. If timings suit, then give them a try.

3 hours to tapes up & happy to report it's a lovely sunny afternoon here in Gdansk. The start line girls were wandering the Old Town earlier with baskets containing meeting promo leaflets & wristbands, posing with their (many) admirers for selfies etc. All excellent PR.

Plenty of fans have made the trip north after last night's action in Torun, hopefully a big crowd tonight with bags of atmosphere & some exciting racing.
