Speedball
Is it seating or standing at Gdansk, does anyone know please? Looking forward to supporting Rob The 50zl tickets are in the main grandstand (start/finish line), that's what we have gone for. Only roughly £10 each
DutchGrasstrack
Only seating places if I remember correctly.
Speedball
Only seating places if I remember correctly. Yes, think the rest of the stadium is terracing from the pictures I've seen (never been in person).
scottrocks
Only seating places if I remember correctly. Sorry do you mean it's 'only seating at Gdansk' ie no standing, or that the start/finish line is the only seating?

scottrocks
All seater stadium Great, thank you!
mikec
R&R's right that it's all seater. On my only visit there (for a league match) there were significant numbers stood up much of the time, especially the home fans on the back straight & 2nd bend. That should be much less of an issue in the grandstand area, unless Pieszczek's winning of course!
DutchGrasstrack
Dominik Kossakowski got the wildcard for this 3rd and final round. Kacper Woryna and Oskar Bober will take the reserve slots.
moomin man 76
Good to see Nike Lunna get the chance to replace Joel Andersson, as I feared One Sport would find a way to circumnavigate the official reserve rider list and include another Pole as Andersson's replacement. DutchGrasstrack
As if One Sport has something to do with the lineups..... Lineups are made by the FIM.
moomin man 76
As if One Sport has something to do with the lineups..... Lineups are made by the FIM. Many thanks for the clarification, as I was under the impression that One Sport chose the permanent wildcards for the series, wildcards for each round, as well as the supplementary reserve riders (subject to approval from the FIM). scottrocks
Anyone know for trains from Torun to Gdansk, is it best to buy tickets in advance?
mikec
Think train takes between 2.5 & 3 hours from Torun to Gdansk. Polski Bus is slightly quicker, 2 hours 20 mins. I've booked tickets in advance for bus but when using trains I've just bought them at the station. It's handy to have destination, class & time of journey written on a piece of paper. English really widely spoken in Poland, however less so at train stations. Edited September 25, 2016 by mikec
Bagpuss
As if One Sport has something to do with the lineups..... Lineups are made by the FIM. Then it would be nice if they could explain why Przedpelski replaced Drabik rather than Lunna for the first two rounds.
DutchGrasstrack
Then it would be nice if they could explain why Przedpelski replaced Drabik rather than Lunna for the first two rounds. ????? Because Przedpelski is the first reserve, and he is once again replacing Drabik in Gdansk.
