robert72
Havvy needs to learn to think before he speaks, not the brightest comment saying he would have to kill Sophie if he was to tell her what was said live on tv. Some superb races and KK was a class act.
hrhbig
A typical Elite league match KL 1-5 30 pts COV 1-5 30 pts, reserves KL 12 pts COV 19 pts, Elite matches now decided by how good your 6 & 7 are, but anyway congratulations to Coventry.
mdmc82
Where's Steve brum to say how rubbish kk is? He's gone in to hiding 😉 He's trying to think of a way to find a way to find a negative in another brilliant performance at King's Lynn. Huge commitment from him tonight. speedibee
Thought the ref got it spot on tonight with the rollers. what rollers ? the bay city rollers We have the benefit of the replays to show that often the "jumped" starts are a lot of the time going with the magnets. The ref only has a few seconds to decide and it is easy to err on the side of caution and pull them back. The ref has the benefit of knowing when he's pushed the button . have they no hand eye co-ordination
Starman2006
Good meeting, shoddy presentation. Basically there wasn't any.

If a rider gets a flyer and doesn't touch the tapes then it should be allowed to run. But obviously if a rider touches the tapes then he should be penalised.
tellboy
Crazy that Robert Lambert's a second string on an equally false average. Its Mads average that is false. This is what has put Lambert down to second string.Lambert has attained that average riding at a heat leader position so is definitely not on a false average. MrMungo
Thought the ref didn't do much wrong tonight at all. There was only one marginal pull back, the others were spot on. Not sure if the rules allow for it, but thought Rose was harsly excluded in 12. Effectively, he was the cause of the stoppage, but Lambert's entrance into bend 3 left a lot to be desired and didn't give Rose a lot of choice. Not seen all of the SKY matches this year, but thought this match was one of the better ones on TV in a while. Some good racing when the track settled down, a few cracking moves, and a close score throughout. Happy enough with that. The only down side is the form of Batchelor. I know he has his critics, I know his people skills are sometimes a bit lacking, but seeing someone who can potentially be so good ride so poorly is a sad sight. It's a shame he and Lambert can't switch positions. Now more than ever Batchelor needs a run out against reserves to build up some confidence again. There was actually a few times during the night when I felt his heart wasn't totally in it. Shame to see. Congrats to Coventry - worthy winners. Could be a late challenge to the play-offs if this result can kick start their season.
SCB
Have we had a poor Sky meeting yet this season? Leicester got pass marks, the GB Final only really got pass marks too but wouldn't have started at most tracks and wouldn't have ended at any other so can be excused. All the GPs have been good too. It's been a great year for televised speedway (Prague in the GPs next and PL dross next week though )

Blimey, I can't imagine anyone being offended by that, unless they're one of those sad gits that gets offended by anything. It's a jokey comment that people use every day of the week. You do know that he wouldn't actually have killed her don't you?

Professionally offended folk can turn almost anything into an insensitive comment in today's world. It's one of the biggest problems with 'today's world'.
fliss44
Watched Bates. Yound lad making his way. If he gated he did well but his passing ability seems non existent at the moment. Like it out wide. Lambert B rubbish himself when sandwiched and he got through but he seems at the moment to be a bit of a gater. Plenty of time to improve though. Your comment re Josh Bates is nonsense
Woz01
Good win for the Bees I thought the reserves would be the difference and they were. Another away win at Leicester and we are on a roll!
Tom Thumb
http://www.streamgaroo.com/live-television/united-kingdom/sky-sports-1-live-stream There are multiple streams. Look for the "Switch Stream' tab to select another if this one fails. Many thanks Rob, enjoyable meeting to watch with added bonus of Kings Lynn losing.
