Followed by a Heart Attack or just indigestion?

Followed by a 0-0 draw with Queen of the South. Indigestion may have kept me awake

Is that really a good reason to keep returning to Berwick?

It looks spectacular, big and fast, but the racing is dull.

Most Premier League tracks have had better racing this year.

They keep coming back for John Anderson's delicious pies, just like the rest of us

Pies are very good, but worth paying an extra £15 for?

Time to start a petition, Keep Workington Comets OFF Sky Sports, never do ourselves or the PL any favours, looks totally embarrassing this result, not good, not good at all?

Cheap excuses, not enough regular racing as a team, far too many blank weekends, for whatever reason it does for us more than it seems to anyone else, very strange?

Couldn't have went much better tonight, Berwick have hit a rich vein of form ever since the tour of Scunthorpe and Rye House. Really did not expect to win by such a big margin tonight, I looked at the Workington line up and thought we would be in for a very tough night. But Berwick seem very confident right now. There was some very fast, close racing tonight, possibly due to the track being slicker than usual. Had a laugh at Vissing spitting the dummy after heat 6 when Bellego pushed him wide. The later race between Doolan and Vissing was brilliant as well, two riders who clearly have a lot of respect for each other. Another great race between new boy Danny Gappmaier (who has made a brilliant start and clearly loves being here judging by his interactions with the fans) and Kenneth Hansen, hansen tried every line to get past, but Gappmaier blocked his every move.

David Bellego has been a brilliant guest of late, how good would it be to see him back in Black and Gold next season in this form?

Decent crowd considering the football was on, probably kept a few away.

Great to see Sky back in Berwick, always love it when they come up, there is a buzz about the place when they are here.

Close? Close? I gave up after heat 6 because I had see 6 gate and go races with the riders all so spread it out that there wasn't a hope in hell of a pass. The first time I think I have ever turned on a speedway meeting once I had started watching. That was dull, utterly dull unless it got better after the first 6 heats but I would imagine a lot of people turned off before then to watch the football.

Didn't help that the picture was abysmal. Flickering and jumping all over the place.

Still, we've had about a dozen meetings on TV this year, league, GP and even a British Final that was ruined because of rain and it's taken this long to get a naff meeting, its still a vintage season for TV meetings.

Hopefully it keeps some of the anti-snobs quiet for a while too. You get crap racing in all league/levels from time to time.

Please, please please Sky, stay away from the PL. Absolute garbage on a track with follow the leader races. riders not capable of looking after their equipment and so many tapes infringments it was the ultimate borefest.

Some people prefer pl to el but for the life of me I would want paying to turn up to watch this guff.

ZzzzZZZZZZzzzzzZZZZzzzzzz

Yawn Yawn usual patter on here from the same people slagging off Berwick. Every corner of Every lap of Every race produce racing outta the top drawer at these places then when you's are all getting ripped into Berwick? BSI should just take the SGP series to Rye House Armadale Poole Coventry Peterborough when you lot are ruined with speedway from the gods every week.

As a Berwick fan have to agree it wasn't the best meeting but you can only beat what's in front of you.For the early part of them meeting Workington were abysmal then Compton and Wells came to the party. Shame thati t wasn't a good meeting but a win is a win.

If they think speedway at Berwick is predictable, then they want to take a look at their posts!

Perfectly entertaining meeting in the flesh, and that is what speedway is all about.

I thought there was a great atmosphere tonight, and a very good crowd, especially considering the Euro match was on.

It seems that Berwick fans really appreciate Sky coming and always provide a great turnout, everyone did the club proud once again.

And..what a thumping!

Is the racing always this bad at Berwick.

This meeting is almost as poor as England's defense (almost)

There are a lot of PL fans on here who are always telling us how great the racing is in the PL, however I have yet to see any evidence of that.

This is the first really bad meeting this season so far on sky. The EL ones have been very good.

Berwick's too long and narrow to give good racing sadly. Workington's early incompetence didn't help. I've been watching second-tier racing for 45 years now - that meeting was far, far from typical. There were suggestions that the track had been made slicker recently to give the Bandits an advantage. If only they hadn't.

Basing judgement of the PL on that match would be totally foolish. Sadly there are plenty of fools around who will.

I've always had a soft spot for Berwick but this did the PL no good at all.

I'll stick with the elite league thank you

Please do. If you're prepared to make that choice on the basis of that meeting then the PL will do fine without you.
