Live On Sky: Berwick V Workington, Monday, June 27th

Recommended Posts

You're a man of supposed intelligence. You know the track is very different from way back then. You saw it with your own eyes the other week

In the words of the great Basil, you started it!

Actually, I was thinking of pointing out how Sky do seem to like going to tracks where the standards have been dramatically improved, such as Berwick post-Peter, and more recently Glasgow.

If the Rye stadium reconstruction matches their track improvements, then they might also get a future reconsideration.

Another borefest at Berwick we might witness 2 passes all night usually from a mistake from the rider in front

a lot of track work went on last week to change the entry to bend 3 which created more lines and therefore more passes and better racing against an awful Ipswich team on Saturday, I don't know about next Monday but if the track is the same hopefully the racing will he better than previous.

It was very noticeable that the riders were using every inch of the track on Saturday night.

To my untrained eye, it looked like perfection.

the chippy down the bottom of the road always did a decent haggis

The food is better at Berwick Rangers matches. Proper food truck with fish & chips, battered haggis and Scotch pies.
