Looks like you and Shovlar know more than Max Fricke who says the track is fine and that the crashes are down to over exuberant riding by young and inexperienced riders putting it on the line.

Then again what does Max Fricke know............ he's only riding there!

it's an opinion and if I think that then so be it!

Nothing wrong with the track last night. The times were as quick as Elite league meetings. There was some good racing bit the meeting was Spoiled by the endless crashes and the track grading after every four heats. The crowd wasn't as many as for an elite league.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the track last night, just inexperienced youngsters putting it on the line. Many who have never been to Kings Lynn slightly caught out by the amount of grip and speed.

Couldn't believe how long proceedings took. Delays for crashes was fair enough. Referee took an age to put the 2 minutes on and the time spent track grading between every 4 heats was a joke!

Impressed with Lambert, Pieszczek, Przedpelski and Fricke.

Any news on Przedpelski????

This to me typifies the main reason I get cheesed off with Speedway. I would probably have given up half way through and gone home.

Hubby & daughter did just that. Left whilst Przedpelski was being treated, got home made cuppa and sarnie and had time to eat before heat 13!

Exactly!!....4+ hours for just TWENTY THREE!!! minutes of racing (well, OK, lets say 30 mins with all the re-runs!) is unacceptable and a disgrace to be honest.

There is NO excuse for ever dragging out ANY normal 15 heat meeting (barring serious injury or rain interruptions) for more than 90 mins or a 23 heat individual meeting for more than 150 mins. Its normally done I reckon just so that people spend more in the bars etc as they are bored stupid with waiting about!

Okay, there were plenty of falls and riders needing medical attention but there seemed to be a total absence or urgency when the meeting was running, although it is probably unfair to judge from a video stream rather than being there.

What was ridiculous was to keep the modern ritual of having riders gather before cameras, waiting for a presenter to eventually be given the go ahead to go through the helmet colour choice for both semis and the final.

Given the huge delays to the meeting this should have been cut out. The riders in each semi and the final should just have been gathered in the pits and asked for their choices off-camera and just got on with things.

Some times procedures need to be adaptable even if it spoils the video.
