mdmc82
Congratulations to Belle Vue. Another great night for Fricke and a great score for Steve's first meeting in the main team. I'm surprised that Howarth is struggling so much at reserve. A bad night for both GP number 1s, only 4 from Zagar and 6 normal points from Lindgren. stevebrum
Just seen the Wolves team here. If they class themselves as serious title contenders why the hell is Masters not riding? His meeting in Edinburgh was off early giving him plenty of time to get to Manchester. Honoring a guest booking in Hanson is not winning mentality. All well and good being honorable but its going to cost Wolves any chance of a point. Drop Hansen, give him some payoff money and go with your strongest lineup. poor show from the Wolves management. Short changed their travelling fans and give an easy win to Belle Vue. with Masters there we would have had to have run RR for PK instead. That would have made us even weaker. But proper speedway fans could see that. Thats why they dont win leagues Steve. What about 2002 and 2009? We have won more titles in the past 20 years than all teams bar Poole and Coventry. A rubbish performance by all accounts however the Aces, with Poole, remain the teams still to beat. Would we have got more with Sam and PK? I'd like to think so but even with a weakened team tonight that was still poor. Howarth a huge disappointment.
Rob B
Really slick track tonight compared to Monday but still some good racing, wolves were just a 3 man team really and Belle Vue were solid despite Zagar being poor.

Total rubbish. RR for PK would have meant more rides for the reserves who were rubbish. It would have meant a near maximum from Masters to have got anything from tonight. Yes he is in good form but on paper Adams made the right move, no dispute.
hyderd
Top match again tonight, 4 points from our No 1 but still hit 56 points, Max Fricke is something else this season and will go on to be a top GP rider of that there is no doubt, I did expect more from Wolves but they were just not on the boil. A mention must go out to Joe Jacobs 7+2 from 4 rides, for me his improvement is great. Still wouldn't write off Wolves though as with a full team they will trouble any other.

hyderd
One says a two man team, the other says 3 man. Think I will believe the person who actually attended. Lindgren was better than his 10pts suggest, his two zero scores where his last 2 races one from 15 mtrs and the other in heat 15 Fricke,Cook,Thorssell then Lyngren. Thorssell was Wolves best rider and his tally of 11 from 6 rides don't do justice to his effort. Kylmakorpi was another whose score doesn't reflect his effort. Hansen's score likewise. But on tonight's showing any team will struggle to take points from us. Edited June 17, 2016 by hyderd
Steve Shovlar
How was the attendance compared to Monday? Is the crowd levels still holding up or improving?

Slightly disappointing because there was no outside line at all but, to be fair, there was a threat of rain. As you say, though, still some good racing Hugely impressive from Max Fricke and the improvement from Joe Jacobs was startling - riding for Isle of Wight has probably restored some of his lost confidence. Good to see the South Stand has its own ticket office. Edited June 17, 2016 by Halifaxtiger

Masters was at Belle Vue.

The Aces really are the dogs wotsits this season. Looking forward to coming up for the B fixture, and hopefully play offs.

Gavan
Rubbish. Masters is riding well. You were a two man team tonight. Masters would have given you a much better chance of a point. When you can understand the rules then come back on and have another go. Masters riding would have meant r/r for PK which would have meant he poor Wolves reserves getting more rides thus Wolves probably doing a lot worse, but then again it seems like you like to try and troll on any thread. You and Starman on another thread!! Must be getting worried that the title is heading to Manchester
Phil The Ace
Very slick track tonight. Just need a little more dirt. All though rain was forecasts which came but not till just after heat 15. Sods law I suppose. If we would have watered I bet the rain would have hit at heat 1. It was a decent meeting. Some very close races which I suppose made it feel better than it actually was. Fricke was immense. Jacobs repaying our faith in him. But zagar 4 points again???? It's not him. It's Deffo his bikes. He's just so slow and he's now had 3 genuine E/F. Uike him that. He needs to sort his bikes our asap. Thorsell loved the track. He rode well has did Lindgren and kylmakorpi who was always in contention to score more points. Was Lindgren the first rider to be excluded for going on centre green. And more importantly did anyone see him go on centre green. Cos I never did and the ppl around me never did. Unsure how the crowd was today. When ur in grandstand it looks full it's hard to tell how many was in there. I'd say about 800-1000 was in grandstand. And we'll done management. They have moved the speakers to the top of the grandstand and put more speakers in so the tannoy is now loud and clear where ever u are. Wolves willingly chose to track a team with a guest and R/R rather than one with their own rider in. The moment the Edinburgh match was called off, Wolves shouldn't even have been allowed a replacement for Masters as he was available to race.

You and Starman on another thread!! Must be getting worried that the title is heading to Manchester p Are you naturally obnoxious or do you have to have lessons? Anyone can see that if Masters rode Wolves would have had another rider capable of winning heats. They had no one really to cover for PK anyway as only a coup,e of the riders were effective in the meeting. If you call trolling giving an opinion then you are the star queenie. Dont come on a thread that has nothing to do with Poole, wher you normally hang out, and start spewing the same crap that wrecks many threads on here. Belle Vue are a good team no doubt but Wolves turned up with a team Leicester would have been embarassed to put out. No wonder they got pasted. Still, Belle Vue are now the clear favourites for the league as many have said. Lets see who can shoot them down. No he didn't. Wolves willingly chose to track a team with a guest and R/R rather than one with their own rider in. The moment the Edinburgh match was called off, Wolves shouldn't even have been allowed a replacement for Masters as he was available to race. Exactly. Wolves went into this fixture understrength and Adams cost his side any chance of a point. Anyone with half a speedway brain can see that. Anyone with half a speedway brain can see that. That's not all that irks me as it can be argued the other way, although I agree with you to be honest.. The fact that a team has willingly used a guest when a rider from their team is available to race is madness.
