eastipswichwitch
Ipswich are absolutely woeful this year. Apart from King, the whole team needs a complete rebuild. Attendances are low, fans are frustrated and rightly so, why pay so much to see such a poor team. In my opinion Kerr should have been given a better chance to prove himself and I think he was treated unfairly. To have been walked over today is a complete embarrassment for a team with such a proud history. Last season was shockingly bad, this season is a complete embarrassment
eastipswichwitch
What on earth is wrong with Barker this year, he has been complete pants away from home but that top four should be doing better than this. I think he's overrated anyway, not a bad rider but he needs to start scoring
eastipswichwitch
Such a proud name in speedway which has been run into the ground. What has gone so wrong? If the current encumbents have not got an answer they should hang their heads in shame. To let the name and legacy end up like it has is a unforgivable. Having said this, the sport in general is an absolute shambles and spineless bunch running the shop. Back to Ipswich, is it too late to stop the slide into oblivion? The schedule of meetings has been a gamble that did not pay off. The weekly fix has now been lost forever, poor results poo management, woeful promotion, track prep poor and performance that shows the riders do not care. It beggars belief and yet CL and Co seem disinterested. Let's hope that this is not the end. A message to CL, fix it or pull the plug, don't take the p... as far as the supporters are concerned you owe it to the Ipswich supporters and the town. I agree, it's such a shame. Think forward 5 or even 10 years, could you see the team even existing? Attendances are only going to go down. That said I agree with you that the whole sort is a shambles British speedway needs big changes

topsoil
Great result for Berwick, but zero entertainment according to the updates. Don't know who does the updates, but they obviously forgot to mention the great action in heat 11, with Jorgensen chasing Sarjeant, but knowing that the slightest mistake would allow King through. All three were within inches of each other on the 3rd / 4th bend. They also forgot to mention the great ride by Doolan in heat 12 to shepherd Carr home, all the time under pressure from Covatti. good race between Carr and Sarjeant in heat 8, a great second bend ride by Jorgensen in heat 13 and an impressive debut from Daniel Gapmaier in heat 2 going from last to second. It wasn't the best meeting this season, mainly because Berwick were outstanding from the gate for once and after a few races the dirt moved out too far, but ask any Berwick fan and they would be very happy with this win. Disappointed in Ipswich, I really expected more from Sarjeant, Covatti, Risager and Barker. King looked really fast and impressive. Berwick in a rich vein of form at the moment, long may it last. We've had our share of injuries this season, now the riders are back to fitness and clicking.
DSC67
Well that was a lot easier than I'd expected , in a previous post I'd guessed that score would about the same as last week , looks like I got that wrong . Ipswich where poor apart from King , the rear are barely wort a mention l was very dissapointed with Barker he seems to be going backwards ATM . Good start from Gappmier , he looks very tidy need to see him a few more times though and also see what he's like away from home against tougher opposition . Captain Kevs ride in ht 12 gets my nomination for ride of the season it was an excellent piece of team ridding
damosuzuki
Berwick are a great side at home at the mo, so realistically a home win was expected. Liam Carr really impressed me lately, and he did enough to ride in Heat 15. So take away the reserves and it's a lot more like 50-40. Â I said it before - Bandits for the play offs.

Highlight for me was the form Liam Carr is showing. He's really moved up a notch this year. Sargeant rode him pretty hard in heat 8, but Liam wasn't having any of it and comfortably held on to his paid win.  We were just too good tonight, and there were some entertaining heats as Topsoil points out.  Barker was very disappointing, he looks all but finished as a rider

mythman666
When you see Barker riding tonight it is utterly baffling why they replaced Lewis Kerr with him. That being said he was never short on effort tonight to be fair but some of his team mates need a word with themselves
samsplint
I didn't see that coming, but it was good to see. i know they say you can only take on what is put in front of you and sorry but Ipswich just didn't come to the table last night, except for King, and how must he be feeling. I think next monday will be a stiffer test, but if the team ride like they did last night I think it will be 3 points. Must say a word about out "guest" brilliant
Bandit59
A much easier win than expected with all the Bandits having a great meeting not much passing but as has been said some good races pleased for Liam had a great meeting and rode very well our new lad had a good debut as well.Ipswich were pants King apart feel for the poster on here who traveled 350miles to watch his team.Surely they knew the interval could not be after heat nine[always to be at least heat 10] why the tractors came out again after heat 9 was baffling as they had just been out after heat 7 and please can we have TAPES UP AT 7 as advertised not ten past
screm
Thankfully for Ipswich at least Danny King turned up, the rest needn't have bothered. Sad to see how far Ben Barkers form has falling away, couple of seasons ago he was one of the PL`s top riders sadly now he looks very much like his best days are very much behind. But for a blip at Glasgow last Sunday Berwick`s form at the minute is excellent, bring in the right rider at No1 and we might just hang onto a play off place yet. crazysue
I usually only pop in on our away updates as I always appeared to be the jinx and we would start losing...now it doesn't make any difference!

Fromafar
Good win for Bandits, but Ipswich were shocking ,they have a good looking Team on paper but are underperforming big time, wouldn't touch Barker with a barge pole the way things are going for him.
