New era Panthers
If only they could sign a load of Danish riders Yes would be good for Karger if allowed
Dandelion
And all the other riders who are struggling to make their name in the PL, but there'd still be 72 spaces left for British riders in the NL if there was 1 foreigner per team
StevePark
Yes would be good for Karger if allowed  We are struggling to get good British riders coming through as it is, without clogging up the NL with second-rate Danes (or any other Nation).  Might be good for Karger (and any others), but not good for British speedway.
Dandelion
Â We are struggling to get good British riders coming through as it is, without clogging up the NL with second-rate Danes (or any other Nation). Â Might be good for Karger (and any others), but not good for British speedway. Hardly clogging up the league, there'd be 12 at the very most and that's if all teams decide to use a foreigner, also there'd be 72 Brits, that's lots, compared to the amount of British riders actually available to come through, as I said before "I'd prefer to see good racing of Brits and (some) foreigners rather than bad racing of only Brits, and that's why the crowds don't come"

It's not bad racing with Brits only. Plus one foreigner per team wouldn't make any difference to the standard of racing because they're only in 4 heats per meeting and the best rider often gates to win anyway!
arnieg
The real problem is that once you have a 'one foreigner' rule it makes it easier to move to two and then three. Moving in that direction would make it increasingly difficult for the likes of Buxton to compete, and less attractive for EL and PL teams to run junior teams. In the long term that would mean a smaller league and even fewer opportunities for Brits (of any age).
