mdmc82
On current form Woffy Harris Lambert Bates King/Cook or Nicholls for final place I know Scott has now said he's willing to ride for Team GB and he's one of my favourite riders but I think the others are currently stronger. Danny depends on if he can keep his current form but he does ride the track very well. My worry with Cook is he doesn't always win if he doesn't gate. Not as much of a racer as the others Edited June 25, 2016 by mdmc82

Thanks for that mdmc82 - I did not know that. However - I would still prefer Nicholls as Belle Vue is his Home Track.
mdmc82
I don't envy Rosco, however it's nice to actually have riders good enough to pick from instead of just making up the numbers
Pinny
Tai Harris Cook Lambert Harris always steps up in the world cup, and esp after his gp rostrum finish lastnight. That would be my side, god knows who id have at reserve. Bates has the medals but ellis has been far better in the el this season. Tough one
Anzum
Supposedly Bt Sport named the team but Rosco confirmed that he will decide after the practice session.

foamfence
Based on league form, being the highest average British EL rider, Experience & ability to cope under pressure. And based on his upsurge in form, as we saw this week in the EL and GP. He needs to keep it up though.

This scores for Cov (H) 9, 13, 10, 15, 8, 8, 5, 13 (A) 13, 14, 7, 5, 10, 4, 5, 13, 10 Including a paid max at home to Leicester Edited June 26, 2016 by mdmc82

godmother
Will Woffinden be committed enough to give it his all, or will he save himself for the GP's and World title? He only did enough in Prague to qualify for semi's. I don't believe the stuff spouted by the commentators about him trying his hardest. In The World Cup there is no room for half hearted efforts, its cut and thrust stuff. I feel the same about Lambert. I really hope they prove me wrong. Before you all shoot me down for having an opinion, they are both very talented riders and have proved this point already. However they both have their own agendas and the World Cup may not be at the top of the list.

His form at BV hasn't been brilliant but that can change. Will Woffinden be committed enough to give it his all, or will he save himself for the GP's and World title? I agree absolutely, without these two we have no viable team.

If anything he was trying too hard, he wasn't gating and was looking a little desperate at times. I didn't agree with his decision to miss the British Final but I'm sure he'll be giving 100% in the World Cup, like he always has.

Would he not be far better of settling for ONE Type of Engine and sticking with it. Get some consistency and build up his form. To my mind he messes about with different Engines far too much - how can he be consistent doing that?
mdmc82
Rosco has confirmed that his team choice will be made after the practice session on the day so I guess it will come down to form on the day and how they ride the track in that.
