sparkafag
So you got a solution ? As i also said but you've totally ignored What options do we have ? Pick from the Brittish riders we have (as most are suggesting) rather than referencing "international quality" as if "international quality" riders are about to be plucked from thin air

No I originally posted about Cook and then Harris and King which you quoted, there is no chicken egg scenario re that. Â Now move along

Hodgy
They aren't "international quality" what a typically idiotic point Why? It's very easy to understand. We nearly completed a page of positive debating.
Woz01
Its has to be as things stand. Â Woffinden Cook Lambert King Ellis (u21 reserve) Â Could change if riders lose/gain form. Bomber should only be considered if one of them is injured beforehand, Nicholls probably close to being named Edited June 17, 2016 by woz01
SPEEDY69
A lot people seem to be saying he's not of international standard or he is etc. How many of the Brits are competing regularly against the top international riders? Woffinden in Sweden & Poland and doing well, as well as the GPs. Harris in the GPs, doing badly. Nicholls in Sweden and Poland and doing well. The rest are EL or PL. Steve Shovlar
Be interesting who of Bates and Ellis out on top tomorrow in the first round of the u21 final at Kings Lynn. Â Don't forget you can watch the meeting live on Youtube. They meet in heat ten. Hope theres no geo blocking for this meeting.
Countershaftcounter
Be interesting to see if Adam's broken collarbone can take it, it's not been three weeks yet !
Steve Shovlar
Be interesting to see if Adam's broken collarbone can take it, it's not been three weeks yet ! Very true. Not been racing so going to be a bit stale as well. Uderstandable he wants to take his place though.
Midland Red
Read Bombers comments in the Star this week, hats off to him very honest no self pity. Â What was the gist of his comments, please?
mdmc82
The only reason Bates would be in front of Ellis is because of Adams injuries. Otherwise i would have Adam. You do realise that Bates is also injured don't you and has been out with a dislocated shoulder for a few weeks. He returned to the track last week and fell again which has left him very sore. Edited June 18, 2016 by mdmc82
Gavan
Bates has been racing with a dislocated shoulder so neither him or Ellis are fit. The only reason Bates would be in front of Ellis is because of Adams injuries. Otherwise i would have Adam.or if they raced in the final of the British Under 21 final where Bates left him well behind
Gavan
Be interesting who of Bates and Ellis out on top tomorrow in the first round of the u21 final at Kings Lynn. Don't forget you can watch the meeting live on Youtube. They meet in heat ten. Hope theres no geo blocking for this meeting. it was interesting yes. Bates scoring 10 coming back from a dislocated shoulder and Ellis scoring 5 coming back from a broken collarbone. When they met in heat 10 Bates comfortably beat him. So this season Bates has made it to the British Final, become British under 21 champion and then in the first round of the World under 21 scores double what Ellis did and made the semi finals. Wether you think Ellis is the better rider or not he cannot match what Bates has done on the track this season. Whoever the reserve is will not matter as neither are good enough but on what he has achieved it has to be Josh Bates.

screm
At least the debate between Bates and Ellis, for the reserve place in Team GB, can be put to bed now.
SteveLyric2
Maybe, but Ellis is a much more polite young man than Master Bates!!
Daniel Smith
Changed my opinion, Josh Bates for SWC U21 reserve spot
