screm
Adam Ellis for me Fair enough, I am sure Ellis wouldn't let anyone down, I`d go for Josh Bates. Much more important IMO opinion we get our top four right as no matter who the Under-21 reserve is he may never get a ride.
Trees
Not to fussed about who`s fastest, just want to know who is the best rider and who will score points. Goes hand in hand doesn't it?
screm
Goes hand in hand doesn't it? Not really, you could put a rider out on their own where he could record fast times time after time but no good in a race situation or in a SWC situation. As I`ve posted earlier Woffinden, Lambert, Cook plus one of King or Nicholls will make up our team IMO with the reserve place going to one of Ellis or Bates, Bates being my choice. ColinMills
Gavan, what's the point of being British champion and getting no reward for it, yet you don't support King to be in the team.... see your post #86 king did get a reward for it, hes at Cardiff..king is not an international standard.. Only Tai is guaranteed points, lambet and cook should be automatic..the rest is open, and its too early to write Harris off for a spot imo.

ColinMills
HARRIS !! Rosco would have lost his marbles if he picks him... agree...if the pick was today....but "if" he goes and bang in two 12point scores and king does his normal 4 to 6, what would you do then? no one has to select a team on a one off performance...what has king done for witches this year? and ave just around 5.60 at Coventry? not spectacular really? If he cannot perform on the GP stage which he doesnt, he's got little chance of performing here. Sorry he's not the rider he was, so shouldn't get a sniff. And to be fair, King is not an international rider either.. Edited June 16, 2016 by Starman2006

sparkafag
Harris should be in before King There is no logic for King over Harris other than King winning the British Final, if that's the basis it's entirely knee jerk

Gavan
Bates reward was the final taking place on his own track. He had a huge advantage over the other riders in that respect. Had the final had taken place at a neutral track and he had still won it, then I could understand the argument. If the final had taken place at Poole and Ellis had won it, would you be saying Ellis should get the place on merit, as he won the title. If it had taken place at Poole Bates would not have got more than a handful of points at best. He is usually tailed off at the back. He scored 5 from six rides on his last visit. And before that 3 from 4. yes if Ellis was British under 21 champ then he would deserve the spot even if the final was at Poole. Your saying Josh had his home track well Belle Vue is big and fast as well so I'm guessing he could probably beat Ellis there as well. sparkafag
Read the post again. Yeah it still says the same thing it did when you posted it Brittish riders (Tai apart) aren't "international quality" what ever the hell that even means, and what of it? what if they aren't "international quality"? We write to the FIM and tell them that? Or...we all sort of get the point and get on with it other than saying "not international quality" every time riders are mentioned and accept we have to get on best we can with our "not intretnational quality riders" You're an empty vessel
