See Richy Hawkins is not a happy bunny he's saying each rider today is on a set guarantee of just £106, so there's no incentive there to race, he also states that amount will not even cover the riders costs.

And yet, a rider who can't be there today, was desperate to ride for his club, rather than his country in the SWC, so he wasn't bothered by the above!

.

Now I know why Len Silver refused to put out a team in his last few years as Rye promoter.

Just spoke to Cook, he said he'd rather ride for the Panthers on Sunday than for Team GB in the SWC.

Any you believed him?

Just found out they're racing the three groups separately. Group C not expected to be on track until around 6.30pm

That's sensible.

One race from each group then the second from each group would have mean someone waiting maybe a dozen heats in between races.

Exactly, riders tell you what you want to hear. Well I'm bored......

We got here at 11am and there were people already sitting in the main stand. Far too early to turn up. Should've waited until around 2pm

The bar are doing beer at £15 a pitcher (4 pints). Better value than £4.20 a pint.

Maybe a case of glory comes to those who wait.

Who's the little'un supporting

As long as he's got Gerry, his comfort giraffe I don't think he's bothered.

Is Buster on the bowser!!!

I dunno what he looks like. They just dumped a load of shale on the inside of the first bend

Oh dear over watered bend 1 now sawdust coming out to blend it in......hope the kids blend it in a bit more.

due to numerous possible travel companions not being able to make it i decided at the last minute (just this morning) not to go and was sitting here half regretting it.

Seeing the quoted post has made me feel i made the right choice!

Although I really do hope it does end up running smoothly and all of you that have turned up are rewarded with a barn stormer of a weekend.

Got my fingers crossed for you all....

Anybody know a pits that can accommodate 60 riders and 120 bikes?

That's why they are doing one semi at a time

Apparently the riders are in dispute over the £163 flat rate they've been offered to race today. Some questions over whether the meeting will go ahead
