If there is an early posponement is it right that the club does not have to pay rent for the evening.?

They have to pay the sheeters who sheet the Greyhound track, but im not sure about the rent.

Not sure but probably yes as they will get rent for the replay, also if early enough the stadium staff do not need to go to the stadium

Now more heavy rain so cancelling meeting was correct call.

Absolutely chucking it down now so good decision☺

Another meeting called off in dry conditions when there is a threat of rain. Same happened at Poole and Matt Ford apologised saying it was a wrong call. Seems the same has happened here.

Right decision Steve as throwing it down now.

To think most times including last week when there was no speedway the weather was lovely.

Always the same mate, some say it down here..

AJ will not be at Swindon next Thursday- riding for Rybnik in Poland.

I know that Rybnik are riding against Wroclaw on Thursday 7th July but who are the opponents next Thursday as I cannot find a fixture on any list I have been able to locate?

How much is the rent? With only around 1000 paying customers just aint viable.

I noticed there was more rain in the rest of swindon compared to royal blunsdon

What a sheet job

Apparently it's Starman's other job at Wimborne Road, apart from flogging the Star.

AJ scored 5 last time we were at Swindon and Cook scored 4. Cook has hit a bit of form since then, so probably not a bad choice. We will miss Kim though, who top-scored with 11+1 last time out.

Looks like an easy home win on paper, but if Leicester can win there....

Up the Hammers!
