Ticket Sales At Belle Vue

Recommended Posts

For those that did not watch the British Final Forum last Wednesday;

The following was announced re ticket sales :

Option 1 ; go online and print off your own ticket re entry to the stadium .......... at a cost of £1 per ticket as well pointed out on this forum

Option 2 ; phone the Belle Vue stadium and purchase your ticket directly from Belle Vue ( it is my understanding that there is no charge for option 2 but I stand corrected if necessary ) The tickets are printed off and you collect them from the collection table ( not from the main ticket office )

Option 3 ; purchase tickets when you arrive at the stadium and hope the queue is not too long

Tickets for the main grandstand and the West stand are available from the main ticket office.

Tickets for the South stand ( the back straight ) are available from a ticket office which is situated near the entrance to the South Stand in the South Stand Car Park.

Collection table for the Grandstand and the West stand is near the main grand stand ticket office.

Collection table for the South stand is near the South Stand ticket office.

Tickets on sale tomorrow ( Sunday ) by phone between 10am-3 pm or on Monday re the British Final.

Hope this helps !!

I am coming over to the UK for a week (July 23-30) to visit the family. Hardly any meetings on except for the World Cup. I looked for tickets for the race off on 29th, but it doesn't look like you can buy them. The only way that you can get them is as part of a package with the final and I will be on a plane back to the US on the 30th. Are there any plans to sell tickets for this event individually. Of course, I could just be missing something on the website.

Yes you are correct you can't buy them individually at the moment, i suspect nearer the time or on the day they will be selling them. Or if you don't want to wait you could buy both meetings for £25 which is still decent value for a World Cup meeting

Hello Alan,

Our promoter David Gordon has told me that 70 % of the people buying tickets for the World Cup on Saturday have bought tickets for the Friday night.

Therefore 30 % have not.... so I am sure that tickets will be on sale on the day. or possibly before that,

Not many people will want to do the Friday and not the Saturday

I am sure that Sheffield have a meeting on the Thursday ,...... v Glasgow so an attractive match

I doubt you will get a big crowd for the race off. But if your not ram jammed full for the final especially if Team GB are in it you want to know why..

Dont Forget there will be temporary seating erected on bend 3-4 for that weekend, works out more affordable then the main stand but whilst it's seating I don't know if it's undercover so we will be taking our umbrellas - to keep the sun off us!!!

If they have the temporary stands that we had then they will be open.

I do expect that to be the case Starman. I noticed at Danish gp last weekend the seats on bend 3-4 were temporary and not covered.

I do also feel what Danny Smith has said about ticket prices. They are a little exstortionate, and it will price a lot of poeple out.

Obviously depends what value you put on viewing a world championship final with top riders in the world present, and importantly, on a track that has limited capacity (as do all regular tracks in the uk), so costs have to be met from a smaller crowd. On the positive side - Belle Vue National Speedway Stadium has the best race track and the best spectator facilities in the UK, and its still to be finished!

Just been on the website to look for Grandstand tickets for the SWC just for the Saturday as due to illness I have to sit. Can go do one @£65-£70 :o:nono:

You wouldn't have been able to buy one anyway as they are sold out, which shows 2000 people were willing to pay that price.

Still seats available on 3rd/4th bend.

Yet they are sold out lol

As Rob says they are sold out, as is the back straight. I managed to get two tickets on the west stand for 27.50 for two meetings. A huge bargain in anyones book. If 70% are taking the opftion of the Friday as well, then the stadium will be three quarters full at least for the race off. Edited by Steve Shovlar
