Glasgow Vs Berwick 12th June

Recommended Posts

All well and good having an upgrade to the stadium and facilities, but the first priority should be getting the track right.

Too be fair the track was ok today , was only really the less experienced riders that had trouble with it most of the time . After two disappointing away meetings , Summers was back to his best today . Lawson and Worrall were able back ups and Bach made a steady debut . Coty once again was in the wars , but had a couple of decent rides and Danny was a bit off today , but that has to be expected at times .

Berwick are a workmanlike side , not spectacular but steady and pushed us hard . Sad to see such a popular rider like Matthew Wethers so far off the pace though .

So that's us like an Elite team now , no meetings for a couple of weeks . A wee rest before the Monarch bashing begins

Thats not the best situation to go into a meeting with the dark side, hopefully we can get a practice in between now and then. I also wonder if it will be Lunna's first meeting back after 3 weeks out which isnt ideal. Nothing less than 100% will do!

Some quick thinking required by Bandits management if their intention is to be in the mix at the end of the season think something a miss with Matty maybe fancied a season at reserve but now in the main body of team struggling most of the time.

Have to agree Mattys had a bad night last night even worse today well done to the Tigers on their win.

Thought it was us that got the excuses in early.

After what I saw at Berwick last night , we have nothing to fear from them

Fernando in the wars again threw no fault of his own. Still scored well think he was on Ryan MacDonald's bike for a few races. Over £200 quickly raised for him by afew fans. Hopefully he can let his injuries heal and rebuild his bikes over the next 2 weeks before the clash with the monarchs.

Well done to all riders for overcoming the bandits!

Gutted i missed this today due to the late fixture change, having already booked the date off work for the original staging on the 19th.

What happened to the League Cup Semi's then? Speedway Star says it's Workington next Sunday, and i was going to pop through for that instead as i'm off anyway, and take in the meeting and a few beers with my Tigers pals that i missed today.

I may have missed any info though, as i don't follow every speedway page on Faceache or Twitter.

Too many riders missing to make it meaningful so been put back to later in season.

Plenty of guest spots available over the next couple of weeks, Newcastle have three meetings for a start. Swindon, Belle Vue and Lakeside are all riding, Kent have tons of fixtures and Bach will be riding abroad. No worries about being rusty before the Edinburgh meeting.

Very good pics George, I've not been free to enjoy live speedway last few weeks (although I can this sunday) but there's no meeting. So your pics are very welcome.
